Being reported in the DR thst Frimpong release clause has now expired and Barcelona are interested in signing him for £60m

I did read a while back, that Leverkusen were offering Frimpong a new and improved contract, that would take away the €40M clause.

I agree with smkmeakipper. Barcelona are very unlikely to be able to afford it. More nonsense from the media. I wouldn't be surprised to see him stay at leverkusen.

Frimpong could leave for 600 million with us having a 80% sell on clause. It would make no difference to us the support. Money banked and a few projects bought.
