I’ve been waiting patiently and looking forward to James McCarthy doing his thing for us. Would love to see him turning it on this season.

Can’t see Mc carthy doing anything, but then again, I never could. Green tinted specs by those who did imo. Now having said that I will be delighted if he is brilliant and I need to eat a humble pie the size of Australia. Can’t see it though.

He will be part of a squad and if we want high tempo stuff for 90 mins or occasional ET, we need as many quality footballers as our structure can cope with. If we can keep everyone on board.
