Would we want howe in straight away or end of season? There is plus points and negatives to both. If you get him in now gives him time to assess squad and players should raise their game to impress new manager. But on a negative side results could be patchy till he gets his methods implemented.

As soon as any new manager is to be announced the players will kick on if he's hear or not cause they know he's coming in video analysis on the team will be worked on meeting players on zoom will be done a visit to the ground etc will take place so it won't matter if n now or working behind the scenes in my opinion.

Gotta get Howe in straight away, gives him a couple of months to judge players, see who needs to go, who needs to stay and see how big our club is and how big the size of job he has. Rodgers did the same. (Rightly or wrongly) it gives you insight and breathing space for the new season. Give Howe two games against sevco at the crumble dome to familiarise himself to enemy territory, before they uncage the orcs. In Howe I trust. HH and happy Easter bhoys and ghirls.

I'm sure he will be watching every game to make assessments if he's coming in for next season.

The new manager needs to start immediately.

{Ed007's Note - I don't think that's going to happen, LAW. No matter who it is I don't think they will officially take over until the end of the season, that's not to say he won't be working behind the scenes preparing etc.}

I don't think it would be a terrible idea to allow Kennedy to end the season in charge and allow the new man to prepare for next season behind the scenes and assessing the current squad giving them a brief on his style of play formations systems and expectations so we hit the ground running would also allow him to get to know the director of football and form a working relationship and give details of the players he'd like or types of players needed would also give him a chance to really understand size of our club.

Jaw 1888, sorry but I don’t agree mate. Kennedy’ or Lennedy as he’s known on here. This is the man who still plays Lennys players, plays lennys tactics and still goes by lennys subs times (60mins) apart from yesterday. Turnbull is 1st off after 60mins. Brown in front of soro even tho he’s now a SS in waiting. We should be building for next season. I like laxalt to an extent, but surely having Turnbull off 1st, soro getting 15mins and Taylor not getting a lookin is going to turn these players against Lennedy (if he stays) and at worse makes these players 2nd guess if paradise is the place to be to build their future?

I get what your saying Jim but I just believe it would give the new guy some valuable time to assess the whole club he could still have an input with the team but I just think it would give him a great footing to kick off next season fully prepared just my opinion though.
