I feel we are about to hear the same old stories regarding transfers. Just last week Lennie said he hoped to have maybe two in for the next euro game ( Cluj) now he’s saying he’s probably going to wait until the English window shuts ( August 8th) . Then we will hear the English market is too pricey ( which it is so why are we waiting for it) 20 million for the person from Swansea and 20 million for a defender from Bristol city no one has heard off.
It seems to me we are now in the realms of loans again. Typical of us to just try and do just enough to get by. Honestly think they take the fans for fools and we all come coming back due to our love of the club.

My worry for the fans is they believe every window this is the time we will spend. Nothing in the last 10yrs suggest otherwise. Only Guarantee is we sell our best players and the suits get their bonus.

Funny when they want top dollar for kt but won't invest in any one but quiet willing to wait for more money how does this look on the fans who where told that new faces were being drafted in when they won't spend the prices that are asked for typical penny pinching that's why managers leave no scope or ambition the best fans in the world and the worst board in the world this happens every season scrape by scrape the money we get is amazing for players why should we need loan players when we can buy decent players instead of losing deal after deal if the people had the money they wouldn't hesitate to buy it's a sham again celtic board penny pinching.

The one way I’d put it is it’s very frustrating. The longer this window go’s and the closer it comes to the English market closing for me I personally think it’s going to come down to the sale of KT. Lennon has stated numerous times where needs strengthening and how many he roughly wants in yet day after day goes by with no real connection to anyone. Yes I’m happy with the signings we’ve made so far but it’s simply not enough. We’re still needing another RB in, a CF, and depending on possible outgoings ie tierney, ntcham, jozo, ajer we could be looking at another CB, LB aswell. For me we’ve still a good bit of work to do to our squad and I know we’ve a while yet before the window closes but like I say, I think our incomings are based on what potentially is going out the door.

Some of you need to chill out we've already spent £10m I'd hardly say that's us being tight. Agree that we've not dipped too much into all this cash from the rat, VVD ect but we've still a few we could do with moving on first. I can see there being a wild card signed at the beginning of the week. The squad should be good enough to see off Cluj then we can get a few more in as that guarantees European football regardless of the result in the playoff.

I think getting past Cluij and the English window shutting will settle how we finish the transfer this summer

getting past cluij puts us in Europe it may be EC but it’s still guaranteed extra gate money.

English window closing will let us know if KT or any other is gone and what that income will be needed for, if we manage to get CL and KT is gone then I think that we will spend about 75% of the KT money on 2-3 players.

It look oks as if the tin has been spirited away by the transfer windae hating pixies Lawell employs to keep his heated driveway working and hide the tin when we need players.
