I liked the look of Shved and Bayo, time will tell if they will become regulars but I think they will play big parts in the season ahead.
With the players we have I would prefer to stick with Brendans formation because like the 2nd half tonight, we don't control the game with 2 up. I know its early days but half decent teams will overrun us in midfield.
I would only play a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 against teams who we know will come and play 10 men behind the ball, but other than that play the system the majority are comfortable with and also the system we have been successful with. At times when we play only one up it can be boring, but we hardly ever concede and are in control of games.

I would stick with same formation as well. Shved can apparently play in CAM role as well.

Phil, I think it would be like tonight, first half in total control and not giving too much away but 2nd half we scored more goals and also looked like conceding more goals.
I do think 2 up front would make better viewing and back to the old way, we will score more than the opposition but I think we would drop more points.
We have found a system that works for us, so why change a winning formula.
I would only change it against very defensive opposition.

Lewis Morgan looked good I though I just think we lack height in midfield and need a right back in pronto! It’s early days but defence is the area to focus recruitment on as we may possibly lose our first choice defence this summer.

I thought Bitton looked very impressive first half, made some good runs down the centre and some decent passing.

Playing with 2 up top is a must we will score more and with the players behind them supplying it will be even better to watch. The defence will settle down and the team will become a solid unit back to front.

I foresee another treble in the new season.

I thought young Gutman looked decent, good speed going forward and passing was good.
Just need to see him defend against better quality.

He’s simply a player that is championship level at best and should be moved on and that’s Scottish championship not English.
