UPDATE: Celtic have rejected a bid from Toulouse for defender Stephen Welsh.

It’s understood the fresh offer was for a season-long loan with an option to buy in the region of £3.5m, plus add-ons.

Celtic don't want to sell him as he is part of their first team plans. HH.

I've just read the same story Bestybhoy.

I think Stephen has still to develop as a footballer but then he's only 22yrs old.

Glad we're keeping him too ?

Is there not some European rule that requires a certain amount of homegrown players or something? Does keeping Welsh not help us in that department too?
