look our league is dying needs a major overhaul on and of the park only way to improve is doing that can't blame the club want to try there luck in another league cos of the financial side of it yes I do blame the board me self not investing squad enough to get to the CL last 16.

I hate to contradict anyone at this time, having just finished the second most successful season in my life time, but I don't think anyone could possibly know how much is necessary to get a club into the last 16 of the Champions League .
To the best of my knowledge UEFA don't end out a reminder at the start of the transfer window telling every club competing in C L how much they need to spend . Clubs with spending power multiple times Celtic can dream of, don't always qualify .
Actually spending money will help only if it is spent wisely on players that can fit into team structure that will gain success to last 16 and beyond . This means the right manager& coaches, the right scouting system and a generous portion of good fortune.

I agree with you, Chris, some people seem to be desperate for the club to spend big money purely for the sake of spending big money, a big money signing might not fit in, might disrupt the team spirit, spending big is no guarantee of success.

Hi ED what is the latest on Roberts Deal has Man City accepted a bid from Celtic? last I Heard that Armstrong was close to that new contract.

The big question is are Celtic going to make an offer for Roberts? We are on the eve of the Scottish cup final does anyone know anything on MD will he make the bench?

Roberts is not in Man City's plans for next season

It's really up to the player what he wants next season and how far Celtic are willing to go to secure the signature.
