Just listened to Rodgers press conference, nail on head speaking about fans need to be patient at times with the team, if the players need to go backwards or sideward at times it's not a bad thing it's about starting again and keeping possession, so true, I am embarrassed with our fans again tonight as soon as it's not going for us any bad pass any touch it's like the worst thing that's ever happened, we as fans need to realize that every game in Europe is not easy, Astana have probably spent 4 times that we have spent this year, but because we are Celtic we should be pumping them, it's pish wee need to encourage our team not ****ing slate them every time they make a bad pass or touch, i could see tonight the full team where playing for each and giving there all, so guys get aff the players backs pleas.

I agree. The jeers at a sideways or backwards pass were starting to annoy me. We didn't need to force it (until CG stepped up) , it was important to stay in control and I was impressed with our ball retention at times but there's still plenty of room for improvement.

Nobody does more backwards or sideways passing than Barcelona and they done not too bad.

Agree bud, I find it hard to sit and listen to our fans at times, we are not playing Patrick thistle or Dundee, we are playing a European team that have won there domestic league, spent a bit of money and are very organized, we can't just go gun ho and attack, they played 3 home games in cl last year and never got beat, they are no mugs, we done well to get through the tie,

His pressing getting ball back was class, not the biggest broony fan but last 3 games he's impress me, especially against Leicester he was good.

He could be a player, good pace good touch fast, final ball let's him down at times but he could be good, it's up to him to show wat he has, too many young players show ability but don't move on, u see young tierney thought tonight he was superb his defending is first class, i like sometimes he old school under pressure just **** it out the park, but if janko can gain confidence he has all the attributes to be a player.
