we definitely have a new breed of celtic fans who have seen nothing but success and have never had to listen to rangers fans having the upper hand in the argument which makes them rage all the more and go into meltdown.

for me celtic is a extension of our culture and family and we should always be together and back the team and manger win loose or draw.

the way some people turn on our players is a joke we even have people saying get rid of calmac and take the arm band from him. this is a guy who has gave his full life to the club who plays some amount of games year in year out without hardly any summer break he runs through brick walls for this club he comes from a very staunch family i know boys who know his family and there staunch as ever yet this boy is celtic through and through to turn on him like that because he has got off to a bad start is embarrassing and shameful

taylor who has been excellent last two year is being told to get to listen i like greg taylor he has done well but iv always thought we could upgrade there.

we sit top of the league and players got abuse yesterday what message does that send out you can do amazing things for us but if you play bad for a bit we will turn on you and hate you and want you gone now who would want to run through a brick wall for people like that

it would feel like you don't really appreciate them for the success theve brought as long as you keep them happy they will stay at bay

we call our self the best fans in the world in all honesty the way fans act these days i think the best fans in the world is long gone we have a new breed who will only back you as long as you keep them happy.

Ui this is nothing new new. it's something that goes hand in hand with the game a game or two away from disaster scenario. difference now is its accessible on multi platforms to vent whereas in earlier years it was on at games and in your local pubs . players managers have been getting abuse as long as I've went to the game. as for taylor he's this teams default whipping boy for so. e fans.

We are all frustrated at several things within the club and the last two results, but I was shocked at the reaction of those supporters at the final whistle. The team needs encouragement and support during this difficult transition - not abuse and vitriol for crying out loud. What must the new players be making of the best supporters in the world after that reception - and we are TOP of the league.
Not the ideal mindset for next week but a great opportunity to answer the critics and detractors.

I disagree United. We’ve just drew with a team at home against a team that’s lost 4 of their last 5 games that’s including championship teams.

We’re acting like we’re not the richest team in the country, we should be monopolising the league not giving the other mob a hint of success. Cup games are 50-50 but the league is your bread and butter and with the amount of money we’ve brought in our standard of players should be a mix between young and experienced.

I don’t agree with this Cal Mac is one of our own rubbish either. He’s been below par since the back end of the season. If you actually watch how he plays now he is lazy and doesn’t provide an option for his CBs or FBs he will sit in the middle of players with zero movement. Taylor has been good but again his standards have dropped and if we want to progress in Europe at all we need better starting LB.

Yes we’ve been drunk on success, however financially we should be blowing this league out the water and for what ever reason the board just aren’t doing it.

It’s early days in the season, but we need 2-3 qualify experienced signings.

UI totally agree, some of our fans have taken the entitled cup from them. We are not playing well granted but we are still top of the league. Its only 3 games and we have a lot of injuries.

For fans to be demanding CM lose the captains armband is just nonsense and lacking any sense of understanding the huge shift we are going through.

The players are being asked to completely change the way they played last year. It doesn't apply to them all as many of the players are new but it does to CM, MO and the other players still here.

I have heard the nonsense about the players who have gone have not been replaced. We have lost Jota and Starfelt. The 2 new CB's are good players and defensively we will be ok once CCV is back. We do need a new LB, no question and a keeper.

Jota on his day was class but he didn't turn up every game an we nee to be honest about that but we still need to replace him with a quality winger and the Honduran lad looks decent.

So realistically we are not much weaker but more importantly we have not moved forward.

But the real reason people are worrying, and to be honest it concerns me also, is our total lack of footballing identity. Last year we ran at the opposition for 90 minutes, moved the ball quickly.

In CL that was our downfall, we got caught short at the back in the break. Our lack of composure in front of goal also hurt us.

We are now slowing things down, not creating chances for Kyogo, who has been asked to come back and join in the build up and not play on the last defenders shoulder, which is his strength.

It is our tactis that is causing us issues just now.

The media are really bigging up their chances next week as they will never have a better chance to get one over on us. I even read one commentator compare this to the C.V. season and we are 3 games in and top of the league.

We will get new players in and injured players back but it is up to the Manager to get this team playing winning football. I know it won't be Angeball but it needs to be better than it currently is.

UI I get what you’re saying but on the flip side the performances on the park at the moment are not good enough. In a football club there should be no place for sentiment to be starting for Celtic you need to be on your game all the time or someone should be taking your place.

I said weeks ago Calmac looks like he needs a rest and I standby that but if you keep playing him and ring fence him no matter how he is playing what message does that send to other players that he is un droppable?

Some of these so called entitled fans spend a lot of money on the club and help to pay players wages so in my opinion are entitled to voice there concerns some of it may be overboard but a lot of it at the moment is justified with what we are seeing on the pitch .

In my opinion we played the worst team in the league yesterday and couldn’t have picked a better match after rugby park disappointment to bounce back and see a reaction and make a statement instead we ended up with a worse performance and even more questions than answers. So I don’t think you can blame guys for having a go at the moment as it’s deserved. You might be happy to cut players some slack because what they have done for the club in the past but as I said there is no place for sentiment in football and the team should always be about the here and now and only be as good as there last performances not previous seasons.

in terms of calmac lads who do we drop him for in all honesty holm who people had a go at last week iwata who people are saying doesn't seem good enough or kwon who people says was stinking last time he played. there is no options there wee need signings in the anger should have been directed at the board yesterday.

as for taylor who do we put in there bernabei who nobody is keen on yet again wee need a signing there.

kyogo i can justify with people who are pissed off at him dropping deeper play him the way he likes to play but ontop of that we don't have another striker either wee need a signing there.

as for the jota replacement he was hot and cold at times to but yang looks like he could step up.

toprig as for calmac not being one of our own of course he is hese been at celtic all his life hese celtic through and through so because he has got off to a bad start probably his only season ever you turn on him and don't class him as one of us very poor from you i think mate basically your saying because you have a poor few games yer no one of us mate.

im seeing it time and time again celtic fans will back you when things are good but be utter toxic to you when you have a drop off in form best fans in the world don't act like that they will always have your back.

ralston is another who when we really needed his help he stood up to the plate even though his ability was limited he gave his all in the rebuild season and stood out now we've got off to bit of a bumpy start its a toxic attitude to him as well. he is our back up.

I agree totally UI and whilst the problem is there to see the solution is not so easy. I have supported Celtic for over 50 years so in a way thse last years full of trebles etc is surreal for me even if for some it has become the normal.
A few years back we joked that the rangers won the league with empty stadiums as they couldn't play in front of their own fans because of the constant stick they got. Heaven forbid that this should happen to us.
After last week I said I would wait until rangers had done the double already and were in the final of the cup to achieve a treble, before going into meltdown and i stick by that. Good players and manager don’t become crap overnight. They will turn this slump around and possibly some fans favourites under Ange will be sold as they can’t work in Roger’s system. That’s football, some mediocre players suddenly became superstars under Ange.
Anyway, unlikely though it seems, we can still achieve an invincible season in the league. I would rather have the slump now and get it out of the way than have it at the business end of the season like Arsenal last year.
