What do people think of Bitton taking Browns place as CDM should Brown move on at the end of the season?
Frees up around £25k per week towards wages for new players for positions we actually need cover for, we have good options in centre mid and will be stronger with a fully fit Bitton. I think Bitton has been unlucky not to get a run of games in midfield since Brendan Rodgers arrived mainly due to how good Brown was the last 2 season's.

I'd be all for giving him a chance, is he fit yet?

Bitton has been non existant for a reason. You would get 1 good game in 10 from him and we already have too many of them stealing a wage.

He's actually been non-existent as he's been injured for 14 months.

Look how other players have flourished under Rodgers. I think Bitton could do the same. The main reason he didn't get a game in midfield was due to Browns form the previous 2 season's. Rodgers has publicly stated that when speaking about Bitton and Kouassi. I think if Brown signs a pre contract elsewhere then Bitton should be phased in between now and the end of the season to see how he does.

Bittons no use in midfield, he looked much better when playing as a centre back, before he got injured.
