Just listening to Sam Allerdyce on sly taking about the amount of signings Everton have made and the amount of surplus players they will have, does anybody think that we would be back in for James McCarthy? I also liked the look of Mohamed Besic,6 million maybe a great price.

Would take McCarthy in a heartbeat Malika, would make up for losing McGinn. He's back training and looking fit.

James McCarthy spends more time on the treatment table than on the pitch.

Why does anybody think we are going to match any EP. Players wages when Lawell baulked at £750k for a player who will move for upwards of £15m in a year?

Delusional. Even Championship play.

Much the same as Dembele and Griffiths Kev.

So we should sign another Stan?

15 million in a year?
Please tell me you ain't talking about squad player Mcginn? 😂😂😂😂.

No wonder your laughing Kev

McCarthy can stay in the physio room at Everton and McGinn will be a championship player for his whole Villa contract.

Yes, I'd take him no problem at all. Injuries happen it's part of the game, happens in all sports. His latest was a break he can't be blamed for that it's not like a recurring injury like Dembele and Griffiths seem to have.

How many multi-million pound players on EPL wages did the AEK Athens team that held us to a draw at home in their first competitive game of the season have last night?

Would take McCarthy any day of the week. Fantastic player. Agree with Stan would make up for losing McGinn. I think MCarthy is the better player but McGinn has youth on his side. I hear what you’re saying Kev regarding his injuries however his last one was an unlucky leg break making a fantastic last ditch tackle. Could have happened to any of player. Still only 27 years old. Interesting how Brendan mentioned last week how the English window closing early could benefit Celtic. So come on Peter go out and get McCarthy and while you’re at it bring Paddy home, you’ve got some making up to do!

Stan it's one thing for injures to happen but it's another to go out and sign a player that has spent
630 days injured and missed 80 games since 2011.
He's injury prone and what use is that?

Kev, I don’t think Brendan Rodgers agrees with you regarding (quote) ‘squad player’John McGinn and neither do I. A major blow for me that undoubtedly put a downer on the team before last nights game which has left the manager potentially a tad dissalusioned and as I said last night the only player to bullly Broonie last season my friend.

New manager needed then jfp.?

14.) 09 Aug 2018
09 Aug 2018 17:52:37
BR rates him and clearly O'Neill does too. That's good enough for me he would stroll the SPL. Everton have spent a fortune today whos to say we can't get him on loan with a view to buy?

Unfortunately DRB while it breaks my heart I think yes a new manager will be required at potentially one of our most successful times in our history and the board should hang their head in shame as in my view it would take much for a man who knows very much what we’re all about to walk away. Sad day.

I would buy the whole AEK defence on last nights showing.

Ed genuine question here are you aware if Brendan or any of his staff follow the site just so they know who we would like signed? 😂😂.

{Ed007's Note - If they did read the site we'd win every game 5-0 lol

Jfp if we have a full squad to pick from then NO WAY would Mcginn make the starting line up.
Who would you drop for him?
Brown or ntcham geez peace.

09 Aug 2018 19:45:11
Kev what age is Brown and what age is McGinn. Listen to BRs interview and try to remain open to the possibility you might not always be right. Yir geeing me a sare heid and I’m up early so off to ma kip. Goodnight and God Bless. ☘️.

Talk of Brendan going is a bit premature, but if he does, we have to replace him with Steve Clarke of Kilmarnock. This man knows how to build a solid defence with limited funds, which is the situation we are in now.
Celtic have to get Boyata signed up now, or he goes for a song
at Christmas. £9 million down the swanee after turning down Fulham.

I, too would take MaCarthy but only if there was no other midfielder available now or for 5 yrs . The man was good at Hamilton but his career is all down hill since then.
