Can you get bt without using bt internet or sky?

{Ed007's Note - I get BTSports included with the minimum package with Virgin Media. We've got top internet with 2 TiVo boxes (the one in the room costs £10 a month and is getting jettisoned soon) on the minimum packages for £70 a month.
I also have a paid IPTV service on my Android box which gets you all SKY Premium channels (movies and sports) plus loads more including Celtic TV.}

Which iptv service provider do you use Ed? I only heard about this a fortnight ago off a mate that uses infusum. I think i need to invest, the old school sports devil has been letting me down lately.

The guy's very discrete and doesn't advertise his stuff or anything and it was Welshy that put me in touch with him, hence the name. I can give you his (the IPTV guy's) e-mail address if you want to talk to him directly, I wish I had started using it years ago with no messing about with KODI etc, it's £70 for a year and I really can't recommend it highly enough, especially the quality of CelticTV matches.

So if you want his e-mail address just send yours in on a post - I obviously won't post it - and I'll drop you an e-mail back. BTW I'm not involved in it in anyway and I'm not making any money out of it. I paid my money the same as anyone else. It's also got nothing to do with the sites, we're not advertising it or anything like that.

It's definitely the way forward for me, between that and the (free) Terrarium app Welshy also recommended for movies and TV shows me and the Mrs are well happy and not messing about with KODI add-ons and buffering issues etc

kodi is seriously getting on ma tits, to be fair I've never really got to grips wae it and your way sounds so much easier it's got to be worth the £5 per month or whatever it works out as.

{Ed007's Note - The arse fell out of KODI a long time ago for me, it was becoming a chore just to find a film for me and Grotbags to watch. This isn't like a SLY/Virgin channel guide but just a list of channels with a preview screen and what's on now and next, straight away no messing.
All I need now is Santa to bring me a Nvidia Shield and I'll be like the proverbial Andy Goram in $hit!}

A switched to iptv also ed . Just took a 3 month to try it . All sky premium, movies, sports . All ppv events. All usa/ Canada channels . 3pm epl kick offs . Large vod section, pages n pages of box sets. Celtic tv also . All in fhd no broken links or buffering . Best move I made . Running on a firestick too 🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Same here ed couldn't be bothered with all that, mate knows a geordie boy and he got me linked up on plex for £30 for the year, all club channels and the sky bt etc is all there along with the movies and the over rated Saturday premiership games too 🍀.

{Ed007's Note - It's the future mate, well for me anyway. One of the KODI add-on devs I'm friendly with gave me some tongue in cheek stick for 'selling out' and that anything on the IPTV is on KODI but on the IPTV it's there as soon as you boot it up with no searching, buffering or broken links - bliss!}

I'm still using Kodi through a VPN and don't have any problems with buffering or finding a stream.

You just need to keep it up to date and use a good build, plus having fibre helps a lot with the speed.

Smart iptv app on firestick or perfect player ed . It's listings in groups on firestick . If u use a zgemma you can put wooshbuild and it's the same skin as sky, same layout . But like you said, it's all there instantly like sky . A watch a lot of programmes on discovery so this is a god send 😜😜😜.

Ed, what's the minimum internet speed you can get for a good IPTV service? My area doesn't get Virgin so I can only get about 40Mb tops. Also if you know a guy I'd be interested in getting it off you if possible.

{Ed007's Note - I'm sure I've read you only need about 15-25Mbps for IPTV to run, Kev and for me personally I always find it's better to hardwire your box rather than use wifi if possible. Send me in your e-mail and I'll pass on the guy's to you no probs.}
