Ed, can we sign players who have been given "frees"?
Also, did u manage to take a look at the £s in/ out this summer? Can't check back far enough through last nites posts

Also Ciaran Lafferty was released along with Blair Kidd. Lafferty is with Dunfermline and I don't think Kidd has been taken on with anyone. Innes Murray is now with Hibs.

Ed, I know where all the players who are loaned out ended up but didn't know that Colin McCabe was back out on loan. Did he end back up with Stenny?

Thanks Ed. taking account of all the ins/ outs inc wages etc plus excluding the unbudgeted income do you feel we could have invested more this window? A lot of fans now saying the next window but previously its always said Jan is a no no so why different this time?
Is reaching the CL group stage the glass ceiling for our club n many fans.

{Ed007's Note - The money for further investment was certainly there but I'm more disappointed that we didn't strengthen the squad than that we didn't spend a lot of money - if that makes sense. I've said all along I'm more than happy going into the CL with a Brown/Bitton/Rogic 3 man midfield but I'm concerned about Rogic's long term fitness if he's playing every week, in fact if any of those three get injured we're down at the likes of McGregor, who I do like but for me he's an SPFL player at this point in time.}

@Belfast Celt - We don't have any CL money yet as that does not get paid out until the end of the season.

If we didn't buy on the closing day because B R was unwilling to take a chance on players, he hadn't properly checked them over . Those he had checked over could not be signed for what ever reason .
If that is the case I am happy enough .
We have had a diet of people signed on closing day because they were strikers, defenders etc.
