Chris Sutton should be our manager next season. Amazing servant for the club as a player who has spent the whole season providing in depth constructive analysis and various tactical alternatives to our current set up. Also has sound managerial experience at Oxford United or was it Halfords?

Aye, loved the guy to bits as a player and thought criticism was warranted at start of season but its wearing well thin. Cannot even remember who his failed manager stunt was with.

I agree fantastic player, but he's sticking the knife in to ronnys back to further his career. Don't think if heard him say anything positive all season. You see it with former oldco players who criticise but then add they know how hard the task is etc etc you don't get any of that with Sutton. I honestly don't want him anywhere near Celtic in any capacity anymore. He's burnt that bridge IMO.

Daviebhoy77 there's the old expression "takes one to know one" and, in terms of terrible managers, Sutton certainly is one! Just because he couldn't cut it doesn't mean he's wrong about Ronny might I add.

I think he is wrong about Ronny. Sutton has his head in the mon days, I don't remember him criticising Ronny last season, let's look at the facts Ronny lost his 2 main cb in one window and Lawell gave him boyata and an injury prone jozo so it was always going to be hard to be solid at the back. The board realised they had messed up and signed erik who has looked hot and cold I feel he needs another cb to form a partnership with maybe that's jozo if he can keep himself fit. The one thing Sutton is right is the quality of football but the players must take a major share of the blame for that IMO. I honestly believe Ronny will win the double this season and then depending on who the board recruits I think he will make at least some form of Europe.
