Would any of the current Celtic squad make it on to the best Celtic 11 of the last 20 years, playing a 4-4-2 formation, would Lustig get a game, Foster, Broony (not a chance)

My team,

The Holy Goalie,
Boyd, Lustig, Johan & Joos.
Lubo, Lambert, McStay & Stan P,
Sutton & King Henrick.

Subs, Foster, Izzy, Stubbs, Lennon, Thommo, Collins & Hartson

Dreams!

10.) 26 Feb 2014
I can't believe no one has Didier Agathe in at right back. Class player for us!

14.) 26 Feb 2014
Deep river bhoy, fair dues

Andy Thom, some peg on him. Was he the start of the polish contingent, what about Dariusz Wdowczyk and Jacki Dziekanowski. Good memories of these solid pro's who gave their all

15.) 27 Feb 2014
Thom was German mate. VVD is an exciting player no doubt but surely he doesn't get in ahead of Aitken or Boyd, Mjallby, Joos or even Bobo 'blunder on the big stage' Balde? Not yet anyway. I think the answer to the OP is maybes one, maybes Forster.

16.) 27 Feb 2014
Boruc

Balde mjallby vvd

Agathe lambert petrov mcnamara

Moravcik

Sutton larsson

17.) 27 Feb 2014
Apologies JimTim, German he was, no wonder I couldn't find his name under the list of Celtics polish contingent

18.) 27 Feb 2014
Jimtim . I would have vvd in before the four you mentioned . yesterday today or tommorrow.
real life or make believe. As the bhoy is a level above them even at this stage of his career

19.) 27 Feb 2014
I accept you point DeepRiver he is a class act and I think he could go all the way (albeit not with us). He's a better footballer in ways than Boyd or Aitken already but they were fantastic servants and Virgil has been here less than a year. Which brings me to my next point, in the CL (like most the bhoys) he was far from great, Mjallby was great at European level and although he was a right Jekyll and Hyde for us, when Bobo was good he was great too. Just a wee bit early for me to be saying he's worthy of being in a vicennial Celtic XI. He may not be here in the summer too. The absence of a quality CB between Virgil and a player who is now assistant manager is stark to say the least though.
