I wish all Celtic fans would take a reality check. We are a huge club in Scotland. 60,000 capacity and a worldwide fan base of millions. But we still only get 2 ½ million guaranteed income from TV rights. So we exist on season tickets, player transfers and replica shirts. Champion's league money keeps our club alive. The Sevco tribute act lost out one season on Champions league money and went belly up. They had banked on that money. Tomorrow the most valuable football game in the world takes place. Not the Champions league final between Athletico and Real Madrid arguably two of the best teams in the world. But between QPR and Derby County. The winners are guaranteed 140 million pounds of Sky money. (60 million pounds for joining the EPL and two years of parachute money at 40 million a year courtesy of Sky.). The likely winners QPR will then be able to invite players us Tim fans can only dream about to play at Loftus Road in front of their massive stadium capacity of 18, 459.
Until we gain admission not to the EPL but to that Sky money our team is finished. And no Manager, player or anything else will ever change that.

1.) Good post and great response! Seriously as one of the biggest cities in the uk it's pants that hull, Sunderland, Cardiff, Swansea, Wigan etc etc etc get the type of TV money they do. Sadly it won't change as these piddly teams fear celtic etc, as given their fan base and tv revenue (in EPL) they would challenge them all. Looking after their own interests and keeping other down. In my opinion the uefa man city fine should be distributed among champions of the lower standing European teams to help level the playing field. Otherwise where is it going?

2.) Agreed Cardinal. However, it's being distributed between the teams in the same league as them.
