Dunfermline have made their highest-earning players redundant after applying to go into administration to avert being wound up.
Interim administrator Bryan Jackson said talks were continuing but expected eight first-team players and three youth players to lose their jobs.
"We have a problem with the highest earners. We don't have the cash - it's just not there, " Jackson said. (Dunfermline owe £8m).
When RFC went into admin owing £127m plus a possible £47m in EBT tax evasion, there were 280 employees and not one was made redundant. GO FIGURE.

Two previous clubs that were in sfl1 and went into admin were demoted two divisions for the felony. Why is Dunfermline being rumored to be getting only a ten point deduction for the exact same felony? Masterton's millions and knuckle crunching at work?
If SFL Chairmen vote for no reconstruction now, then the deal should be off period. Keep the spl and keep the money promised to them and only have one of them promoted into spl each year. It's a one off offer boys take it or leave it right now, no skipping a year to help TRFC. Longmuir on TV at 6pm looking smug.
When u get demoted you don't ask permission to enter the bottom league. It's an auto entry on demotion. Green and McCoist formally asked to gain entry to SFL football. The SFL board and all chairmen voted on the issue and let TRFC in. Green and McCoist went on TV thanking the SFL profusely.
Celtic FC are the most successful football club in Scotland.

It seems that the Advertising Standards Authority are seeking clarification on just where The Rangers get off in claiming their club to be the most successful in football. Letters will be sent to the advertisers and the club, who are less than one year old and have won nothing, in a bid to find the answers. I wonder if we will hear anything on that beating pulse of Scottish football Radio Snyde? Or will it somehow slip under the radar. green jhedi

i think Celtic should look at homegrown talent, we would get the players cheaper than buying players abroad it would help the Scottish national team if the players were playing week in week out at Celtic, it would keep the money Celtic buy the players for in the SPL ect!
Something needs to be done to help the SPL and Scotland national team everything seems to be dying!
