anybody seen this so called elbowing of a motherwell player from the hooperman ? funny how they all seen it now that naismith the gobs**te has been banned for his.....

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Some f*nny has posted it on the Rangers pages. Only to be expected as they don't get out much.

Agree0 Disagree1

I remember there were a few mentioning the elbow around about the time but I also think it happened last season as opposed to our win over Motherwell this season. From what I remember I'm not sure how intentional it actually was and whether it'd come into the category violent conduct as opposed to jossling and handbags but I'd probably need to see it again. However I certainly don't remember thinking "aye he's right Hooper got off with one" so I'm inclined to go with "nothing incident brought up as tit-for-tat."

Either way it couldn't have been half as vicious as Naismith's which was blatant and intended to knock the guy out of commission putting Dunfermline a man down while on the defensive. Sickens me he wasn't sent off for it.

Had it been the other way round the Dunfermline player would've walked. Not because it's Rangers and there's a conspiracy, but because it's Naismith who'd have made damn sure the referee got involved in the incident by diving 10 feet in the air and rolling around on the floor like an epileptic Tellytubby clutching his 33 lb head and having the medics bring on a stretcher for good measure.

Unfortunately I guess in today's game there's always a price to pay for professionalism.

Hooper im afraid is no angel by any means just watch him closely truth will out

Ref We Are The People

{Ed007's Note - I actually used to think it was just a Glasgow saying when I was a pup. The school took us to the People's Palace so I just assumed it was a Glasgow thing for years.}

that was great of your school to take you to Ibrox for the day Ed mines only took me to Viking Gar in Largs lol

Tony {Ed007's Note - I think primary school truancy would have shot up if my school wanted to take us to Ibrox Tony lol}

Dear Ed this phrase watp should be classed as sectarian and should not be allowed here is definition from rangers fans own website "it is a clear and unequivocal statement of loyalty to and from the protestant people of ulster"
It was used when the nationalists tried to get equal rights and the rangers fans started singing it to say they were better than any other section of society. Rangers fans use it in a deragatory way of saying they are "superior" which is wrong CFC 1967 {Ed007's Note - Where is is stated that it is sectarian? You are saying it should be and not allowed on this page, that is my decision to make, not yours. People's opinion may say so but until there is a clear ruling I would recommend you stop being so pedantic and if you are so easily offended this maybe the wrong forum for you. You should also read Psalm 95:7, this was pointed out to me by an older Rangers supporter (family member on my mother's side) to me in an e-mail this morning.}

Agree2 Disagree2

You really should get a life mate a bet you are one of these people that complain about anything cheers ed there is people who complain about anything

Agree0 Disagree4

Dear ed you keep saying your site is open to everyone and we can have a reasoned discussion, yes I know the psalm "he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture", but come on how many rangers fans know this? They sing it as a derogatory song nothing to do with attending church. As you yourself tell us you get hundreds of rangers fans posts with watp, are they all churchgoers? CFC 1967 {Ed007's Note - Well I know my uncle does. My point is it is not classified as sectarian. You are saying it should be, that is your opinion. We were discussing the foundations of it, and you are trying to drag it down to a religious slanging match. How many Rangers fans that say/sing it actually know what it means seeing the explanation I got is the first time in years anyone could explain it to me? I have no concern whether Rangers supporters go to Church or not, how many of the crowd from Celtic Park on Saturday attended Mass yesterday? You or me have no idea of that either, this is not degrading into a religious battleground, if you find WATP offensive then so be it, I actually find it rather childish if anything and you are making yourself look very narrow minded and childish as well. You are attempting to tell me what I should or should not post because you don't like it, I think not.}

Agree5 Disagree2

This CFC 1967 fella is a total dunderheid

Agree3 Disagree3

Well done ed for putting CFC1967 in is place. Bit of an idiot me thinks. {Ed007's Note - Thanks.}

Any1 see naismiths elbow at the weekend , any bets he gets away with it!

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Seen the elbow it was out of order but i dont think he should be tried by telly nor should any player unless every Scottish game is recorded. i wonder how many other incidents took place this weekend and was not noticed by the ref. yet these players will walk away unpunished. this system of trial by telly is very biased towards Rangers and Celtic as either team is on the telly every week. how many times are killie on the telly. also if the Sfa are going to use telly evidence for this then why not use it for game changing decisions like penalty's offside goals and sending offs

Tony

Agree4 Disagree0

Everyone says he's not that kind of player and he didn't mean it. Let's get real, he swung an elbow at head height deliberately at the opposing player and clocked him on the chin. A minimum 2 match ban should be imposed.

Not just because he is a rangers player, anyone who acts this way deserves to be banned, Celtic included.

Agree2 Disagree1

Opposition player has come out and said it wasnt a deliberate elbow. looked a malicous one tho but u need to ask why the player says this and also made no protest during .... he did have a hold of naisys shirt tho and h could ahve been trying to get free.

personally i think hell get a 2 match ban

Germinator

Agree1 Disagree1

Maybe the player was scared he would get the same as joe ledley,your fans are a disgrace and the only hope for scottish society is the taxman shuts you down .fab1

Agree1 Disagree3

Tony its not often i agree with you , but you make a very good point , only thing i will say is Mr Brines must be blind if he didnt see the incident , he was 10 yards away , looking straight at it , but if its ok to punish players by tv trial then wrong decisions should righted by the same method in the interests of fair play .
