He's back. In another rambling piece of nonsense, lifted from the Mirror, Chuckie claims that his club will be playing in England "in five years" In the midst of his usual season ticket selling routine a couple of things bothered me.

In the article it is claimed that his club are the most successful club "in Scottish history" The truth of the matter is his club have won nothing. His club are not yet a year old. Why is this man being allowed to make these claims. I honestly think it may be time for Celtic to stick our heads above the parapet on this matter. In any official Celtic articles they claim, rightly, we won the last ever old firm game 3-0. Can we not make an enquiry, without prejudice, as to the standing of this club? A letter to the SFA asking for clarification would be perfectly acceptable I would think.

The next irritant for me is his claim that he or representatives have spoken to "people throughout the leagues and only two have said no to the idea of the old firm (!) playing in England" Again, there is no old firm. In this article he mentions our club frequently, good enough reason to approach the SFA for me. Is this man using our name to promote his own club down south? I really think Celtic should take the lead in this. When our club had it's financial problems we had a man, a lifelong Celtic fan, who moved in and, with the help of others, saved our club.

The Celtic owner, major investors and, most importantly, the fans ploughed our cash into the club. We rebuilt a decaying stadium, and started to build for the long game. Now, after 125 UNBROKEN years we are a stable, well run operation moving in the right direction for the modern game. We are NOT a new club. We did NOT enter administration and liquidation owing millions of pounds to a lengthy list of debtors. Celtic must move on this. The media will not ask any questions of green. Why is it that every time CG opens his mouth he mentions Celtic. This guy is an person and a mouth piece that lies through his back teeth.

Was it not £5.5 million and how can it be the best deal ever done when they are losing £1 million per month.

Just read Neil McLeman piece with green in the record. "the most successful team in Scottish history" is how he starts then green constantly talks about rangers and Celtic.

Well green at it again talking about going to epl and the dumbest thing he said was Celtic will follow the rangers to epl. Lol, really a cl club Celtic that made millions and not loseing millions a month, which the whole world talking about us and the epl coming after our players but yet he thinks Celtic will follow a little div 3 newco to epl. Anything to get all of the newco's problems out of ppls minds, but will the fans keep putting up with that tactic that has been used since day 1, I think they are starting to get fed up with him now that they can't take the team that goes out and has trouble beating part timers, yet they will be invited to epl or lower English leagues. ya right! Can't wait to hear what he says when Celtic goes there or somewhere else and they get left behind in lower Scottish leagues lol

Hi Ed, heard on the grapevine that it looks like SPL is going to have no sponsers soon as the game is at its worst ever level, it is clueless, rudderless, devoid of ideas, time for an outside agency to come in, why don't we look to the Bundesliga, they had lots of problems way back, now they have in my opinion the best run league in Europe for the fans.
