anyone else think we should get boruc back and i think the darren fletcher link is a good shout if man u don't win the champions league(which i doubt) so maybe we could see a scottish star with top premier league experiece with the time {Ed007's Note - I honestly don't know where this talk about Darren Fletcher is coming from. He only signed a new 4 year contract in March and it would take serious money to tempt AF to sell him, money at the level that Celtic just do not have}

Fletcher is an important player for United, has captained them a number of times and I think is a current vice captain (or at least is up the pecking order behind maybe Vidic, Ferdinand Giggs and Rooney). No chance in hell are we signing Darren Fletcher.

Getting Boruc back could be a shout but if Fiorentina want to let him go (doubtful as he's shone in his time there since Frey got injured) there'll be plenty of other clubs looking at keepers and offering better money in better competitions (i.e. EPL, CL) sniffing about. Arsenal and Spurs have both looked at him in the past.

What a load of rubbish transfer rumours on here!. Lukaku would cost atleast 25 million. Keane? He's past it plus I doubt the board would be willing to splash 6 million on a guy coming up for 32. Bothroyd will be off to a premiership side. Also Lennon says he wants quality players, which manager doesnt? I doubt we will see any house hold names this season signing I reckon Lenny will get 5 million to spend and half of any sold player fees.

£5millon will be fine only need about 3 players

There is no chance of us getting Lukaku.

Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and a few sides in Germany, Spain and Italy have been linked with the guy. As for the price tag I'm not sure it'll be £20M but even if it's a paltry £2M he won't come here over any of the other offers from top tier European clubs offering CL football and better league standard. So you post is utter tripe.

As for Matt Gilks he's a good keeper but I don't see us signing him. I've a feeling he'll stay another year at Blackpool. And as for Keane I guess it wouldn't be a transfer window without his name flying around.

now lads, teesside hoop here making my first post. some cracking rumours - def would like to see carew in the hoops and any hondurans emilio recommends must be worth a look after the season he's had. on the templeton thing - couldn't he play on the left as well?

as a side note - these adverts on here - debt problems about unaffordable debt and "uniform dating - date a soldier" - wouldn't these be more suited to being on the r*ngers site instead?! ;)

The only other definite is the attempt to sign Diego "Diogs" Biseswar from Feyenoord, he only has a year to run on his contract and with the financial situation in Dutch football he is a viable option for Celtic}

I agree that we need a new CB to play along side Wilson (I am not the biggest fan of Majstorovic). The squad only need a few tweaks here and there so I expect more departures than arrivals, it should be quality over quantity in this window IMO and we are lacking a big, strong CF like Sutton/Hartson to challenge in the air up front}
