Use our rumours form to send us celtic transfer rumours.

Another strange Celtic day it seems! I thought we started as if we wanted this finished by half time and, if truth be told, we could have achieved it. We were pacey and inventive and some passages of play were really impressive. Pukki showed up well and will only get better, Big Virgil was again a stand out and Stokes carried his good run of form. Matthews was running riot down the right and Broony and Charlie had a grip of the midfield.Sadly the half time whistle ruined it!

From the start of the second half our performance level seemed to drop by 5% every ten minutes.I suppose this could be explained by the fact we never arrived in Glasgow till the early hours of Thursday morning. This and the exertions of the team in Milan cannot be ignored.Fortunately we seem to have a squad, when all are bedded in, which will help us cope with this.Having said that we really should not have had those sweaty final ten minutes to put up with!

With Inverness losing it was, all in all, a good day for us.I think the new faces proved they will fit in, so should we rest our big players for the Morton game?I have never been that bothered with the League Cup to be honest, to me it is a nothing tournament that only matters in the context of a treble.Having said that winning can develop into a habit and it is the first part of a possible treble.

Listening to Lenny after the game he seemed to say he would rest some players, it will be interesting who he leaves out and who he brings in. I would like to see Balde paired with Pukki.I think Pukki showed he is a clever player and they might just click.Biton also would be a cert start for me, and Sammi could terrorise them and score a few to nudge him on.Rogic in for commons would be a good move as he needs game time. Maybe it's the Milan performance or the way we started today but I am full of optimism for the season. We are in a good place at the moment. But the end to the game today must never be allowed to happen again

Just thinking, imangine if we were able to keep wanyama hooper and Wilson how good of a team we would have? We have a good club now don't get me wrong, but I think we would be a cl team for sure and even a last 16 club who might even go further.

Wouldn't mind seeing Pukki and Balde getting a start together on Tuesday night. Really impressed with Pukki and would like to see Balde in a full game.

Its important these boys get game time with other players before they can be selected for CL games.
