ghuys and ghirls, I tried to write a poem like green quill. not going to happen. then I was watching, the spy who loved me, and realised that the theme tune is almost perfect for us. so with just a few changes this is my effort.

NOBODY DOES IT BETTER
MAKES ME FEEL SAD FOR THE REST
NOBODY DOES IT, HALF AS GOOD AS YOU
OH CELTIC YOU'RE THE BEST

I WASN'T LOOKING, BUT SOMEHOW YOU FOUND ME
I FELL IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
AND LIKE HEAVEN ABOVE ME
YOU TOTALLY WON ME
YOU'RE GIVING ME, ALL MY DREAMS TONIGHT

AND NOBODY DOES IT BETTER
THOUGH SOMETIMES, I WISH SOMEONE COULD
NOBODY DOES IT QUITE THE WAY YOU DO
WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE SO GOOD

THE WAY THAT YOU PLAY BHOYS
WHENEVER YOU PLAY BHOYS
THERE'S SOME KIND OF MAGIC INSIDE
THAT KEEPS ME FROM RUNNING
SO JUST KEEP IT COMING
HOW DO YOU LEARN TO DO THE THINGS YOU DO

AND NOBODY DOES IT BETTER
MAKES ME FEEL SAD, FOR THE REST
NOBODY DOES IT, HALF AS GOOD AS YOU
CELTIC OH CELTIC, YOU'RE THE BEST

HOOPS YOU ARE THE BEST
BHOYS YOU ARE THE BEST
OH CELTIC YOU'RE THE BEST

right bhoys and ghirls that's it. if you want to hear it at it's best. put the music on and sing along. shammy

once again on ssb that fat clown dj giving it large about the same team nonsense when is this rubbish going to stop he banged on about 140 years of unbroken history and when challenged spouted the old line about 5 way agreement and wrongly stated all football debts paid when this is untrue as they were not paid in full action needs to taken to sort this once and for all

My Wife has just accused me of having an affair. Apparently there is some paper work that points to this being true. I have assured her that I will be launching an independent investigation into this and, after I have a look at the findings, will present her with my report. I think I might just be okay. green jhedi

Hearts get the all clear for now. But I fully expect them to do an admin and CVA to try and dump £25m debt.

Regan at SFA awaiting TRFC internal report. He confirms TRFC out the top tier is damaging to Scottish football. Hence TRFC has damaged and continues to damage Scottish football.

Regan states any proven link between green and Whyte would be extremely serious. Surely both acknowledging Whyte introduced Ahmad and Green to D&P in a Chinese resturant in London is enough?

Kris Commons just gets better every time I see him, he seems to be the type of player who gets better as he gets older. He has become a key player for us, £300k looks like a great bit of business. Once again Commons will be keeping himself fit during pre-season, this is the second year in a row he has done this. At times I don't feel he gets the credit he deserves. One thing is for sure he will definitely start on Sunday.

Now that the League is over, I thought i'd give my thoughts on the players performances. Feel free to agree/disagree. make youur own points.

1)Fraser Forster. 8/10. Outstanding in Europe. Not too bad domestically. only a metter of time before he gets capped and the Premiership come calling
2)Adam Matthews 7/10. Injuries hampered him. excellent RB, also superb as a wing back. Great goal at Arbroath
3)Izzy 5/10. Not as good as he once was. Defending is poor. weak link at back post. Excellent going forward
4_Efe Ambrose 6/10. SHocker against Juventus. Tries to play his way out of defence, into trouble most of the time. superb goal celebration
5)Rami GErshon. 6/10. Not seen enough of him, but done alright when he's been included
6)Kelvin Wilson. 8/10 Not the best when part of a back 4, but excellent as the middle of 3 centre halves. most improved player this season
7)Miku 4/10. played well against Barca. that's it
8)Scott Brown. 8/10. when not injured, our main man. makes us tick
9)Sammy - 8/10. Hit and Miss. On his day, unplayable. too many games stuck out wide and nothing coming off for him
10)Anthony Stokes. 7/10. Again injury hampered season, but done well when he's played
11)Lassad. 5/10. Not seen enough. Excellent game at tynecastle. not done anything of note since
15)Kris Commons - 9/10. our player of the season. been excellent. just needs to stop trying as many long range efforts. Aye, they look good when they go in, but more often than not, they end up high, wide and no very handsome
16)Joe Ledley. 7. 5/10 Not as good a season as last year, but still popping up with goals. Plays better in the centre than out wide
18)Tom Rogic 5/10. Only seen him in both away games at motherwell. Very 1 footed. will get better played in his preferred position
20)Paddy McCourt. 4/10 His time was up ages ago. opposition know that when he is on he will try a mazy run, and put 3 men on him. very 1 dimensional
21)Charlie Mulgrew 7/10. Lennon's favourite. Always finds a place for him. Better Centre half than midfielder. scored some good goals
23)Mikael Lustig 7/10 Full Back or Centre Half, always consistent. I rate him highly.
24)Lukas Zaluska 3/10. don't rate him. if he played more, he'd be sharper. looks very rusty when called upon
25)Thomas Rogne 3/10. Mr Glass Ankles. very slow, can't turn. Just like Majstorovic
32)Tony Watt 6/10. SCored THAT goal against Barca, but not done much else. A run of games at centre forward would get his confidence up
33)Beram Kayal 6/10 Not done much, but again been out injured
43)Joe Chalmers. 4/10. Only seen him away to ICT, where we conceded 2 down his side when he came on.
45)Dylan McGeough 7/10. Been excellent when he has played. Scored good goal against Dundee
46)James Forrest 7/10. good player, crossing could be better. ahould never have played against Juve as he wasnt fit enough. will be excellent if he can stay injury free
67)Victor Wanyama 8/10. Not as good as last season, but excellent nonetheless. Personally think we will be lucky if he is here come 1st sept
88)Gary Hooper 7. 5/10/ Form dipped dramatically after norwich came calling. Needs to work on using his left peg and head, and he could be one of the best strikers in europe. goalscoring record has been great.

Personally I don't really care what nationality a player is or if they devil worship, as long as they show a commitment to the Club, put in 110% effort and their personal life does not affect their attitude as a footballer.

I do not care either for Daly's mantra 'Rangers are a big club' regardless of how many punters turn up at the weekend, the fact remains they play in the SFL and will for at least another 2 seasons with not a whiff of European action. What's big about that?

He has also stated there is nobody better to learn from than Ally McCoist, now Daly is 30 years old and wants to learn? Learn whit?

All I can see is pound signs, Rangers are becoming the Russia/Turkey of Scottish football where all they can seem to sign are money grabbers. Very disappointing when they have this chance to really rebuild without the pressure of having to qualify for Europe.

Have they no scouting system at all? Maybe this is the least of their worries.

It's a shame to see new Clubs being taken advantage of in this way ~ Mrs E

Keith J breaking the news of a threat to release a tape of Green being sacked. Lol. Jabba's reply to yesterday's news.
Haw haw does such a tape exist? Idle threat?

RANGERS are braced for the release of a tape of the dramatic board meeting that led to the ousting of former chief executive Charles Green.

The meeting - one of the most controversial in the club's entire history - has reputedly been recorded on a tape which is now set to be put on the internet.

An email sent by someone going by the name of Joe Ninety has threatened to make the meeting public at the conclusion of the internal Rangers investigation into Green's links with disgraced ex-chairman Craig Whyte. (Why is David Murray never described as disgraced ex chairman?)

Ed. do you think there is any chance celtic could take Lukaku out on loan as long as the paid decent percentage of his wage. Surely we can provide a better experience with him having the oppourtunity to play in europe, are we not bigger clubs than West Ham and West Brom both intrested? {Ed007's Note - Sadly Chelsea prefer him gaining EPL experience. Everyone knows how I feel about loan signings but I wouldn't complain too much if we could get Lukaku for a year or two, he's a fantastic player and is exactly what we are lacking up front.}

Really pleased with the last 2 games, 8 goals and none conceded against strong St Johstone and Dundee Utd teams.

Not going to pretend I seen the game yesterday, it was only the Sportscene highlights. What pleased me was Dundee Utd played a 3-5-1-1 and we obviously had no problems handling their midfield without Wanyama and with Paddy playing.

I'm still really cautious about Sunday and would never underestimate Hibs or the threat of Leigh Griffiths.

Assuming all are fit, I would play Forster, Matthews, Wilson, Mulgrew, Izzy, Forrest, Brown, Ledley, Commons, Samaras and Hooper.

I prefer Matthews to Lustig and hope he's fit in time for Sunday.

Defence still worries me and I'm not a fan of Ambrose, Mulgrew offers slightly more from his delivery of free kicks, corners etc and defends just as well as Ambrose. Still undecided if I would drop Sammy and put Ambrose in midfield with Commons just in behind Hooper.

I really hope Wilson does not go too far forward as I think one of his weaknesses is backtracking, he was caught out in the middle of the park for Dundee Utd's first goal in the semi-final. We need to be mindful of counter-attacks as I reckon this is where opposition teams see Celtic's weakness.

As long as we keep it tight at the back and win the ball in midfield, do not give Hibs too much time on the ball or room. Not a fan of zonal marking either, players like Griffiths need to be picked up and marked. ~ Mrs E

Good Morning,

Just a thought, I was at CP for the game against St Johnstone and noticed how much CP needed a lick of paint, I know its a cracking big stadium and when full its hard to beat it for atmosphere but it really is looking tierd and old.

So with 2014 coming up soon do you think it will get a good over haul that's needed or do you think it will just get some fancy posters hanging from it to hide the rust ect?

I can't help but think that Neil Lennon playing Paddy McCourt was Paddy final swansong so to speak. Paddy McCourt never put a foot wrong on sunday and how often do we see Celtic go 3-0 up within 20 mins. Think its a shame that the guy has to go would rather have him stick around and he is always good when it comes to bringing him off the bench and also good for a wee sing song but listening to ones within the crowd on sunday they were all pretty sure he is off to the MLS. Had Paddy not been so injury prone I think Lenny would have played him an awful lot more the guy has pure natural Talent and he is lennys type of player someone to get the fnas on their feet and excited.

One thing the really annoyed me at tannadice was the overpolicing. Watch the highlights on line and see the ten or so burly coppers pratically foaming at the mouth? Strathclyde polis should be the villians
