Hibs letting down scotland yet again at least st Johnstone doing us proud 0-1 up come boys!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

After some of the st Johnstone players didn't clap the celtic team onto the park in the last game at parkhead, I hope they get humped!

Briggs

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair Briggs it was only one of them and he scored the goal tonight. Frazer Wright is just a c*nt with no class and St.Johnstone shouldn't all be tarred because one bad (bitter) egg.

Agree0 Disagree0

@2: To be fair to Briggs it was four of them. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

There was at least three of them that didn't clap, hands behind their backs, staring to the skies. Yes Wright was one of them and he also caught Lustig with an elbow as well.

Briggs

Agree0 Disagree0

Briggs,
agree with you mate. Its up to us and us alone to get the co-efficient points up, the farmer boys will be bumped out in the return leg.
that nonentity should have been hauled over the coals last season for his pre-meditated assault on lustig.
I may b wrong but sure he got off with it.
Idiot was the same when at killie, always had that extra aggressive dig against our boys.
the lack of class shown at parkhead last season makes it difficult to wish them the best but being who we are, may be we should all try!
Stevo dundee

Agree0 Disagree0

Apologies briggs, I wasn't aware of that. I had only heard Wright refused to clap. What a F*ckin shower of arrogant, classless pr*cks. Just Ignorance personified. that's another mob to add to The Newco, Hearts, Hamburg, Rapid Vienna, Racing Club, Linfield etc etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

No apology needed mate. Celtic players showed the respect to st mirren by clapping them onto the park after winning the league cup agains us. I would like to see scottish teams do well in Europe but their are a few exceptions. I'm sure it was st Johnstone a few years ago who drew 2-2 with bayernMunich at home but I think they got beat like 5-0 away, back then I was cheering them on but not now. I hope hibs do well in their tie at home.

Briggs

Agree0 Disagree0

That was aberdeen who played bayern briggs mate

Agree0 Disagree0

@7) I feel the same way now after you've enlightened me mate. I know Lomas is one of them and was there manager at the time but it just shows no class at all and if I was the chairman or manager of that club I would have fined them after the game for that embarrassment. I would feel the exact same way about it if the shoe was on the other foot without a shadow of a doubt. Its about showing respect to your fellow professionals for what they have achieved not about the strip they are wearing, its not even as if he played for the other mob either ffs. Its like a Snooker player losing the World Championship final and not clapping as your peer lifts the trophy! Sorely lacking in class.

i can't believe the wool has pulled over the eyes, yes a good result but against low opposition, there was many times our defence was lacking & teams at a top level would of easily punished us, unless we buy I fear for getting to group stages.
patrick83

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Patrick regardless of the opposition it was a Champions League qualifier and I was happy with the way the team played regardless of the opposition. There was no complacency, a clean sheet and 3 away goals. Good job done as far as i'm concerned.

Defence has been an issue for a few seasons now and every season I hope we can look more confident at the rearguard. I would love a confident, commanding centre half that can actually defend and read the game.

The wool isn't over my eyes but I'm not going to moan about a 3-0 win in a CL qualifier. ~ Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with Mrs E. Job done.It is early in pre season and we have got two new centre backs in. Last night there were a couple of times we did switch off, Wilson mainly, but on the whole we did okay. We will get stronger, we need to because there are a few tricky teams we could draw next. green jhedi

I'd like to see a UK governing body for UK football because this SFA joke needs stopped. Can you imagine how a wee independent Scotland would operate? Every walk of life in the country managed like the SFA.

There's no appeal body above the SFA either. UEFA don't appear interested in this backwater. Get a UK governing body in place, UKFA to manage EFA, SFA, WFA and NIFA.
It's the same game globally with the same regulations. Except up here where the association breaks UEFA/ FIFA regs.

Every other profession has a uk governing body, from accountants to engineers, etc.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Question: if the defunct RFC were in England, how would the EFA have dealt with it differently? Or Germany, France, Italy, etc, . Would the FA be saying its the same club with same history after a full liquidation owning a possible £180m? And the EBT non disclosure debacle?

Agree0 Disagree0

You mean like the Law Society of Scotland?

Do you think UEFA are corrupt free? ~ Mrs E

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Jul 2013 16:46:35
Very true but did you expect anything else considering the way they have bent over backwards for them corrupt to the core, Rangers cheats SFA cheats they are a match made in heaven

Dannybhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

The application of the law in Scotland from the executive to the judiciary to the enforcers (police) is a corruption serving an elite. It needs swept away, revolutionary fashion, and the Scots law nonsense destroyed. European law equally for all Europeans is the future. Ultimately Governed outside Scotland.

Agree0 Disagree0

Nothing in this country will ever change, in any aspect of law or sport, until the stinking fingers of freemasonry are eradicated. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

@5 please explain what freemasonry has to do with football/ sport or law. I agree with as lot of your posts both about Rangers and Celtic GJ but this one is too far. Personally I think the heat has got to you! PB

Agree0 Disagree0

@PB: If you do not think freemasonry has infected every aspect of society I suggest you open your eyes and ears.

Politics and the judiciary is well served by freemasonry. If you think this is not true I would be very surprised.By extension every aspect of life is tainted by this .The whole organisation is built on helping a fellow 'brother', otherwise why would anyone want to become one?

Then there is the secrecy factor. If they are just a bunch of stand up guys why the need to have such secrecy? Why the strange handshakes and key words? I could go on but will leave you with this.

Dunblane. Would Hamilton have had guns if he was not a freemason? No.Do some research on that subject. If you still don't agree with me then that's your choice. Those of us in the real world know better. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

@7) I wholly agree with you GJ.
Mediocre guys get ahead in life due to being Freemasons and exceptional talents are held back because they are not. Undoubtedly.

Agree0 Disagree0

Pb you either part of it or you are very naive. If you are part of it you are truly wicked if you are naive then wake up. Its only the tip of the iceberg. The usual mocking and jokes making out everyone else who questions the official line and the reality just don't work anymore. Your line should be. We are the Sheeple. Sopotcelt.

Did anyone who was at the game notice Danny McGrain working with Balde on his touch at h-t? It was absolutely honking, he had Danny all over the place to retreive the ball. How have we managed to pay £1.8mil for this dud, there's no way he is going to make it for Celtic.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Give the guy a chance he, s only 21 he was a regular in a good Portuguese team and has a lot of potential he hasn't even played a competitive game yet . Remember this the king didn't have a great start to his celtic career however he became one of the greatest . Not saying that's going to happen to balde but give him time ffs!!

Chalky bhoy.

Agree0 Disagree0

I will wait to see him in a competitive game before I comment, but I have noticed some negative comment so far.
I would expect the club would not do a Bangura again and proper scouting was carried out before payment was made?

Enjoyed the game last night. Sammy was epic as usual. I have nothing to moan about unlike some of you. Just glad to see the buoys play again, did you see efes challenge in the first half were he totaly kicked that guy. I lol'd

Darrenbhoy

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Totally agree. Can't fault any of the players. I know it sounds bad as they are professional. but I was surprised how much effort they put in and they looked sharp. Was expecting a crap performance. Yeah, and how Efe never got pulled for that tackle is beyond me. Thought I was seeing things. Did he miss him or something?

Morning all,

First of all I'd like to say well done to the team last night. Good performance, one foot in the next round and we turned up when it counted. Onwards and upwards!

I think Liam Boyce was a real standout for Cville when he got on the ball last night and I reckon he could get the job done in the SPL for us, looks a real good prospect.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think it would take him a while to get up to speed fitness wise, but did look to have some talent. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Jul 2013 12:57:48
I agree, fitness is going to be an obstacle but then again he's a young lad playing part time football. I think a one year contract through the development squad could be worth a shot.

Did Boyse not have a trial at Celtic? Julieghirl

Agree0 Disagree0

He did. Went to werder bremen for a year when Celtic asked to extend his trial. He came back to Cliftonville in the summer and I think he was the leagues top scorer. Good wee player, but not Celtic class i'm afraid.

Be a decent spl player, looked as though he lacked fitness, but ruffled up our central two several times

Please help me! I live in Switzerland and I would like to come over to watch either the Cliftonville or the M'Gladbach match. I now saw that the tickets are nearly all gone on the homepage for both matches. Where can I still buy tickets? I really doubt that the match is nearly sold out already.

Hibs fan here, just wondering If you's aren't annoyed about my club as you's are? especially with the Europe factor.

In Celtic's case, the amount of money you have gained through last season, should be showing through the transfers, but it hasn't been evident so far.

Ambrose is a liability at the back, so you'd think Celtic would have pulled out the stops to get Dunne, as you's could afford him, as long as QPR aren't offering silly money.

Up front, Hooper leaving was inevitable, so buying at least a £5mil striker because of CL money should be the standard of footballer that you should have signed or be signing, but Sharp is the player being linked?

I'd be going crazy if I were a fan of yours. The board continuously try to fix accounts to make fans think you aren't in a great financial position, even though they are just pocketing it all.

A few good buys and good loan signings from EPL would be enough to reach last 16 in Europe again for you's but It's looking like the board are cheating the fans again!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why are you so worried about celtic and celtic fans if you are a hibs fan, 2 put your mind at rest all our custodians are REAL multi millionaires so no need 2 pocket any money it will all go back into the club . enjoy the 2nd division no name hibs fan . fab1

Agree0 Disagree0

And why would this bother a 'Hibs' fan. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope you have fun in Division 2 with Sevco 5088 (2012) Ltd. If I were you I'd be a lot more annoyed with your own team than I would be with ours. Feckin gobshyte!

You're just jealous deadco will never have the money we do. Oh also he's lord Livingston of parkhead :) must be hard knowing a tim is serving her majesty while you've got some kray twin wannabe at your club and links to interpols most wanted.

Anybody else think we should try and get yossi benayoun! Think he would provide a bit of spark in midfield and surely kayel would have some influence!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Jbhoy, as well as a Celtic man first and foremost, I am also a big Arsenal fan. Benayoun has done NOTHING in the last five years in the EPL, I think he is one of these guys that knows he has made his money and now disny care. HOWEVER, he would run riot up here. If we could maybe pay 35 % of his wages I would love to get him. Although some nagging feeling reminds me of Berkovic!

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I would agree with you that he hasn't done much but I just hink that is the kind of player we need if not him someone like him that can provide that wee bit a magic, dnt think we have had it since lubo! Rogic has potential but hope we see something soon! Gary Mackey steven would be a good signing also!
