I bought them on the Barca website and I had to tell them where I was from before they sold them. So they knew I was from the UK and still let me buy them. Why would they do that? seems strange!

ed, is it just my imagination or are there less new threads per day than 2/3 weeks ago. the reason i ask is as i pointed out a week ago , i can't get through to the site from home . thats around 2 weeks now i've been unable to contact either this or the dark side. you will probably get this because i'm sending it from work, i also think quite a lot of the regular names have disappeared in the last couple of weeks . so maybe more than me have this problem. would be interested to know if any of your technical people have any ideas.. shamrock {Ed007's Note - The numbers always fall during the season Shamrock. I am not aware of any the regulars being barred. I have had some GBH on the laptops and my phone for few days.}

Not saying anyone is barred ed, just that maybe , like me , they cant get through because there is some kind of technical fault . shamrock {Ed007's Note - Oh sorry I misunderstood you. I am having my own technical problems this weekend. My phone and 2 of my laptops seem to have formed an alliance to annoy me. If anyone else is having any problems please let us know.}

I'd be interested to hear what the rangers fans think of the Lance Armstrong affair. Do they think he should be stripped of his titles?

Believable7 Unbelievable1

Probably suggest he goes into liquidation and play the old newco/oldco card when it suits!

Agree10 Disagree1

Even if he does lose them , no problem. according to them he can just buy the history and keep them. shamrock

Hey everyone, I have a masterplan which will allow Celtic to dominate world football and it was inspired by our wise neighbours.

Phase 1: Borrow as much money as we can get away with from every bank, building society and pay day lender we can so we have a huge stockpile of dough.

Phase 2: Spend all the money on players, buying Messi, Rooney et al and rule world football

Phase 3: When the money has to be paid back we go into administration, liquidate, someone else picks up the stadium for a couple of million.

Phase 4: Go back to stage 1. Repeat ad infinatum.

Since the company that owns the club doesn't matter we can liquidate every season yet keep all our history. Why has no-one thought of this before?

Correct why have a CVA process at all if you get to keep everything after liquidation anyway.
One club appears to urinate on liquidation law and the integrity of the CVA process. They may employ a tame judge to rubber stamp it also. {Ed007's Note - CVA's don't work like that, look at Leeds, they were saved from liquidation by having a CVA accepted.}

ED007/Green Jhedi did you read Tom English's article in Scotsman regarding Greens "media rights" plans.
I am not a big fan of English but he makes some good points.
Green says the zombies will make £100m a season in media rights and another £100m a year on merchandsing. He claims 30million ( yes honestly) will buy into his plans for zombie domination.
Our reporter points out that not even Man City made £100m from television and even with new Sly contract worth millions more will still not make anywhere near £100m for winning EPL.
Zombie fc are a THIRD DIVISION club so how will they make the monies the EPL clubs cannot?
Green also laughably talks about competing again in europe but NOT with SPL membership, er pal you NEED to be in SPL to get into europe...
He then talks about putting all zombie games on t'internet so Mr Green will 30million pay to watch your team versus East Stirling?
Finally he states merchandising will go big in USA,
the same country that a prestigious report said their plans were flawed. American investors are not stupid and will not buy products from a second rate company. Timalloy

Agree10 Disagree0

Nobody in Asia or USA who is not already a Zombie will become a Zombie and buy merchandise in preference to other sports clubs. How is a Chinese guy in Hong Kong or a yank in Texas going to wake up one morning and decide to go out and buy a Scottish fourth tier clubs shirt? Rubbish.

He just talks absolute ****e, and thats not us being bitter, the facts are there to prove he's talking gash. He is an embarrassment. But funny though.

Only 2,000 people turn out for World Zombie Day in London. Tens of thousands turn out every other week at ibroke and nothing in the press.

Perhaps they should interview King of the Zombies Chico Green.
