Seems like the concerns we had regarding young Abada have some substance. If I were in his situation I would not be averse to playing for a club where I was less under the spotlight. Young guys just want to play and enjoy without outside or political pressures.

On a personal level as a football player, he's been shown nothing but support from the Celtic fans but if he's in a situation where he feels uncomfortable then it might be the best thing for him to go. With 100-odd games played and over 50 goals and assists, wish him all the best and let him move on.

Have to factor in the state of the Israeli media here, and the fact that they have the most rightwing fascist government their history. Israelis see nothing of what is happening in Gaza: only troop sorties and explosions and self-congratulating politicians. That makes tory britain and the bbc look like a trade union congress. Sadly, the young lad will be getting it constantly from anyone who hasn't got an alternative source of information. He's in a position to know better, however, and it will be interesting to see whether he allows himself to be coerced in this way, or whether his youthful skepticism is capable of extension to the state which he belongs. Where his self-interest lies--whether with Celtic in the short or medium-term or in another European league--is, sadly, debatable.

Abada probably feels he’s in a no win situation because the media in Israel could twist certain situations.

After our Derby win, Abada stood in the background whilst his teammates danced next to the GB.
It’s a shame if he feels he can’t join in the celebrations.

I'm certain he feels uncomfortable when the GB are waving Palestine flags in the corner. Would it be a surprise to anyone if he wanted to move on and play his football elsewhere.

I’m afraid if he should go due to what his country is doing in Gaza. The waving of flags to show awareness and disgust at the genocide is a must. Our we meant to forget what is happening in Gaza so he can play. I’m afraid it’s a No from me.

I'd like to think he recognises that for him, as an individual, and a footballer, he has nothing but support from us. But as Buzz mentioned I noticed that too and if he doesn't feel he belongs then good luck to him elsewhere. It's a shame because he has good returns with that knack nipping in with late runs at the back post.

Wouldn't surprise me if Kuhn was bought as his replacement.

He’s going to be in the same situation in every league in the world except if he goes to tel aviv, MSL or the pub league, so he can take his pick. We are supportive, protective towards him and paying him as a professional provider of services to our club. I think if he feels pressurised here then he should go, unfortunately for him he was born to a nation which is now Zionist, he can also become more loved here by renouncing Zionism and shall be loved by 95% of the world for doing that.

Limerick Celt . That was exactly how I felt earlier on in season . I said we should show. Our support outside and away from Celtic Pk . Thankfully we gave him a great welcome back against the new wee club end of Dec.
