Afternoon All

As most people on here know, I'm a massive fan of Kyogo.

However, as I've previously posted on forum, podcast and live chat it really is time that Kyogo gets a spell on bench.

He's been off form for a wee while and I genuinely don't think it's down to how BR is playing him or the service he is or not getting.
I think we can all see it.

I'm assuming BR can also see he's off form.

Oh must be given given a fair chance to show if he's good enough.
(The jury is still out imo) .

Surely if BR had complete faith in Oh and / or rated him then he would get more game time?
(I don't think he rates him) .

We all know that managers have there favourite players and "teachers pets".

Why hasn't Iwata been given a fair chance?

Reading between the lines and coded statements from BR it appears he's getting ready to clear the decks of players he doesn't rate.

I always try and be positive as possible about our team and club but player recruitment etc must change sooner rather than later.

My final comment is. We win as a team, we lose as a team.

I think Celtic are in a catch 22 situation.

The wingers Celtic currently have available are too inconsistent and Kyogo isn’t getting the service he craves.

I don’t believe playing OH instead, will make any difference because our wingers are the problem.

I would love to play a 3-5-2 but Celtic have left ourselves with only 2 strikers until the January window.
Both strikers can’t constantly play 90 minutes until the winter break.

Celtic are stuck with what we have because we didn’t bring in another striker which we obviously needed and we have our 2 first choice wingers out injured.

Celtic struggled for Centre Halves and the start of the season and now we have several but now we don’t have enough strikers to change our very predictable and pedestrian formation.

It’s up to Brendan to find a solution to help Kyogo and so far Brendan hasn’t found the answer.

I don’t know whether Celtic tried to sign a third striker or not . They may have unable to sign a striker they thought suitable, , maybe agents of players Celtic showed interest in did a bit of checking and because we play one striker and that is Kyogo, they would advise their player he would be in competition with Oh for back-up playing time .
Maybe Kyogo is missing either M O’R and Hatate ability to get in ahead of back four and play Kyogo in . With Hatata out injured, I am sure Matt hasn’t the same opportunities as when both are playing . maybe an out and out attacking midfielder would bring the best out of Kyogo .
Our wingers have been disappointing, not just in what they are delivering but also with lack of game time, we aren’t getting often enough, a winger working a full back for an hour and a similar type winger coming on and attempting to work him even harder in the last 30-35 mins . To me that must have been the thinking behind having so many wingers . Hopefully with no more, must win Champions Leagues to play, and our key injured players returning soon players, manager and supporters will regain confidence and go on a strong winning run.

Copenhagen have taken points off all 3 clubs in their group.
Man Utd win, draws with both Galatasaray and Bayern Munich.
Baby Larsson missed a penalty to get a draw at Old Trafford with the last kick of the match.

Before this season,
Copenhagen have had 5 previous CL campaigns.
They finished last 3 times,
3rd once,
And Qualified in 2nd place once but lost in the last 16.

A said to my Pal today that Copenhagon are a good example of what can be achieved with good recruitment and tactics.

I don't think BR thinks to highly of the Centre halfs we brought in for about 7 million. Hatate and Oriley need someone harder younger fitter than Calmac who plays far to many games. A keeper, A Hardy midfielder and a target man. i've never seen a celtic for years who can get on the end of corners free kicks crosses into the box apart from GG. Saying that our crossing and cornets are terrible. God knows what they do practicing those scenarios but it sure as he'll isn't working.

Copenhagen this season, and Bodo Glimpt previously are very good examples of so called 'smaller' clubs from countries that are actually less populated than Scotland competing in Europe.

One thing that's clear to me is that as a club, we are extremely wasteful in the transfer market and those players whom we brought in have failed to make an impression in Europe in 20 years.

We've got 42 players in the first team squad (32 registered + 10 out on loan) and the majority are crap - not fit to get anywhere near a Celtic jersey unless they're buying it as a gift for a relative.

I don't know all the answers, far from it, but surely whatever transfer 'policy' we've been working with needs ripped up and set alight?

If no-one from Celtic has recently spent time at clubs like Copenhagen, Glimpt and others, in and around Northern Europe, studying how they work and operate then they need to be sacked.

I bet our transfer budget/ wage bill dwarfs the majority of teams like those mentioned above.

We miss hatate when he plays he finds kyogo’s runs . without him our play is so predictable and boring.

Hatate and Kyogo had brilliant linking together, Hatate always knew where Kyogo was heading to and often didn’t have to take eye off the ball.
Maeda’s speed over long and short distances created space for Kyogo MO’R and Hatate .
Abada was brilliant at been in right place in box to plunder a goal

We have lost all the goal scoring apparatus that we had for last season . Injuries have been cruel, that’s why I think we may be ponderous within. 10/ 15 yds of goals.
