Hi all first time in glasgow this weekend, any recommendations for nights out Saturday and to celebrate sunday? Any places to avoid?

There’s a few good pubs including Irish Bars in the Merchant City Glasgow.
You could do a pub crawl and there’s also plenty of good restaurants.

I’m sure you’ve heard of the Gallowgate and those pubs are only a couple of minutes walk, along the road from the Merchant City.

You should be safer if you stick to that area.

Old Killy good point lol. I used to live on duke street right across from those hovels at the cross roads by the train station.

I’d suggest staying out of that part of town altogether on your first visit Stevie. It’s not the best and there’s not much to see ha ha.
