Don't want to totally blame the ref as we threw it away when we stopped playing, but I was watching it with an English lassie who's got nothing invested in either side and was watching one of these games for the first time. Even she said it was blatant corruption from Beaton and an ebarrassment to Scotland considering the millions watching around the world.
No bookings for them despite the fact that about 4 even left the field of play to celebrate with their fans at a goal.

They have had at least two referees sent to 'Limbo' after complaints to the SFA. However, Celtic never speak up even with an abundance of video evidence. Additionally, off the field, the sectarian singing, and objects thrown at Celtic coaches will also be somehow condoned.

Hopefully, Ed will let me have a bit of an old guy's rant. With the forthcoming match celebrating James Forrest's career, I'm a bit frustrated by the attitude of a section of our fans towards some of our players.
E.g. there's a guy in the (Celtic) pub who shouts and screams every time Jamesie touches the ball. Hart was one getting it tonight. Yes, he's getting to the end of his career so we need a long-term replacement, but the amount of crap he gets from some people is terrible. Same with Taylor, Forrest and a few others, who seem to be targeted for no discernable reason (unless it's because their names aren't exotic enough).
All teams have journeymen players and a few standouts. If anyone seriously expects Celtic to play in the Scottish league with a full team of established foreign world class players then they're kidding themselves. It might not be right, but it's the reality that some have to face up to.
I think you should display your age on sites like this for a bit of context. A lot of posts seem very entitled. Some of us old farts lived through very lean years, and a lot of the unnecessary negativity on here gets me down.

This isn't a new thing. I mind a guy in front of me used to give Samaras pelters week in week out. I even mind him doing it when he was on a hat trick.
I'm sure every generation had a player that was out of favour. Happens at every club.
For me Hart needs replaced as priority but I'm thankful he joined us when he did. I think Starfelt is a bombscare on the ball but a cracking backs to the wall defender. I think Ralston is no where near Celtic quality and after one good season is back to his usual.
All about opinions and if we all had the same ones it would be boring.

Hart has done a job. naturally with age he's slowing down especially with the ball at his feet. if brendan is honest he needs to act. iwata has had a decent pre season and could be the back up to aj. let's get the money spent. and make a statement.

There's always a whipping boy and Hart is it right now. I'm as guilty as anyone at times and Forrest is a player I've found particularly frustrating over the years.

Hart’s slowing down coincided with the meaningless games at season’s end when our fans used our players lackadaisical approach to ridicule those who they weren’t able all season. Until then Celtic attacking team, playing with barely anyone other than Hart in own half had by far the least number of goals conceded . Rangers2012 won the meaningless games and the reaction by some of our gullible fans, allowed Rangers 2012 fans to celebrate and tease Celts who reacted by abusing some players.

I agree with just about everything you've said Ed. I don't think he's been treated poorly by the fans at all, and I commented to family before about the big cheer he got when coming on. But as someone who struggles with serious mental health issues and whose employer and colleagues did nothing to help, I understand the long term effect it can have on you and your motivation. Everyone deals with it differently. Some Ukrainian players e.g might use it as motivation and power on. Others might crumble.
I'm not saying he's not getting helped by the club behind the scenes, but I'm just advocating a little bit more support from the fans. If that doesn't work and all bridges are burnt then I agree he should go - for his sake as well as ours.

I'm totally pro-Palestinian BTW. I even wear a lovely wee shiny badge on my jacket to show I support their struggle. But calling on one of our own to be benched because of the actions of his government (or because he didn't come out against their actions) is pathetic.
He's a young lad, far away from home. People on both sides are being killed in his region and he's under a lot of pressure from home to quit our club. I agree we should be supporting Abada and think it would be a good thing if the GB displayed a banner letting him know it's not personal and we're with him as a person - don't know how you'd phrase it right enough, but I'm sure the sentiment would be appreciated whatever it was.
