Hi guys,

Just a quick question for you all.

What's your opinion on "squad players" that have a big impact in and around the dressing room? For example, Scott Bain / lustig / Johnny Hayes. He (Scott Bain) is always mentioned by team mates as the Wynd up merchant etc.

Is it worth keeping these guys around the squad to maintain some sort or consistency and team spirit.

We lost a lot of these types of players / characters after 9iar.

Lustig wasnt a squad member he was our first choice right back.

Rab Douglas must be a real character at 51. He was on the bench for Arbroath yesterday against Motherwell.

I’m not saying Callum isn’t as the team looks as though they have a great camaraderie. I was just interested to see what people thought.

I appreciate lustig was more of a first team member than the others I mentioned but he did seem to be a big part of the players togetherness.

Maybe I’m just trying to justify my own involvement in my old playing days as I was hopeless but a good laugh ???
