Abada is never a winger he's a finisher, he offers heehaw as a winger, forrest showed in his cameo how a winger plays.

Played with two wingers, both reluctant to get to line, kept turning back. Played with two strikers and barely put a decent cross into the box. Only player we have who consistently gets to the by line is Tony Ralston. Hatate, who I love, has gone backwards, too slow and much too careless. Most of their breaks came from his slack, lackadaisical passes. O’Reilly is wasted that far back.
In general we are not ready for Europe yet. What happened to all the short, sharp, crisp passing that blew teams away? Do we have to accept that the current personnel have reached there limit or is there still improvement to come?
Answers on a postcard.
Trying to see the positives but it’s like watching reruns of the same movie.

Current personnel have reached their limit - catch a grip, most of the squad are in their early/ mid twenties- they will improve with experience - give them time.

Chasaboy one of those that can't distinguish between SPL opposition and CL opposition ?.

The opposition don’t make you play casual careless passes. Not talking wholesale changes but if we can’t beat teams on our perceived level …
Wasn’t trying to be critical, more of an observation!

I had a feeling we wouldn’t win last night. I agree with Abada comment, he is a finisher, but his passing and dribbling as a winger is off the scale woeful. Me seed another few, it’s getting you just know they are going to miss. Got caught and they scored and should have won it with that miss. But, hopefully we bring in a few players in January to ensure the league is ours. A case of so far and yet so further to go.

Jota, Forrest and Haskabanovic seem to be the only natural wide players that beat their man, create space, hit the bye-line and get crosses in. Maeda and Abada can play wide but it's not as effective. Apart from missing chances in every game CL so far, we seem to be more vulnerable and stretched after an hour as we seem to have conceded the most goals in the last third of all our games so far?

Abada done fantastic to make his usual run, which resulted in Giakoumakis scoring.
But I noticed Abada had zero successful dribbles and zero crosses in the match.
Abada played for over an hour and those stats are not good enough at any level.
He was hooked at half-time against Leipzig in our last match and I mentioned to my daughter, that I expected Forrest to come on for Abada, for the full second half.

Forrest was much better, but with no dribbles or passes coming off my glass of beer had a bigger impact than Abada, he should definitely have been subbed, his only contribution was giving them the ball to attack us. He needs the intensive training in both these areas, because right now he isn’t a winger. His close control, dribbling and crossing are a million miles away from CL level.
