So Ange has come out and said he is not looking to sign a physical midfielder as this is not the way he wants to play the game.

"When we are playing our football and moving the ball around, we do not need to rely on that side of the game"

The other thing this tells me is the media really have no clue regarding our transfer targets as they have linked us to 5 or 6 physical type midfielders recently because they believed this is what we were missing

Mate only got back from Aberdeen about 7pm. Off to a lodge in Ben Lomand first thing in the morning. Making the most of the school holidays bud.

Just goes to show Mark the media have little insight into our transfer dealings. Two in this week by the looks of things. I’m hoping one is a centre half And I’d imagine the other will be a Midfielder even if it’s not to be an enforcer type.

ED with u thinking about an ST coming in is that cause u think we need one? I would like to think that as a club of celtic size surely we have someone in the ranks coming through as an ST that could do a job if our first team were to get on a bad run or worse.

We shall find that out am sure. In terms of CH i think this will depend on Juillen staying or going if he stays we won't get anyone in just my thoughts.

So if u were to looking for another CB what would u be looking out for a young up and coming but better than Welsh or an experienced say 25 year old to challenge the first two stand outs?

{Ed007's Note - Hopefully it's a quality young(ish) player who can come in and keep the other CBs on their toes and progress to eventually becoming a first team regular when CCV or Starfelt move on - or even displace one of them!}

I would prefer a class CB to partner Ccv and let Sterfelt fight to get back in. I think we need better than him especially in the CL. Too much at stake to rely on Sterfelt imo. Great back up and all that but we need better on the ball coming out of defence.
