With some reports that matt Ryan is going to Spain for 1million pounds, it’s very strange we haven’t tried for him. I know ange seems to be giving Bain and barkas a chance but surely the coaching staff would have told them how poor they were last year. If either starts the season with a mistake we could end up the same as last season where we are chopping and changing to try and find an answer.
All successful teams have decent keepers as it can guarantee points over a season which can make a difference, how can no one at the club not see this. If he likes to play high pressing we need an alert shot stopper who has a presence . Seems another strange transfer move from the club or those that are helping out the manager.

1 million would be an absolute steal. Would also warrant the increased wages that Ryan would command.

Wim jansen brought in Henrik within 3 weeks of his arrival on the 3rd of July 1997, ( best keeper we ever had) others did similar.

Ange has not landed one of his own yet, his lack of eye contact in the after match interview against Charlton said alot.

The oz keeper, would have been a step up between the sticks, both bain and barkas are mentally burst at celtic.

All new eras need a bounce, a statement of intent, supporting the new manager. I haven't seen any such gesture.

That is a huge concern. The champions league is beyond us, but we all know that. I would however like to see a vision for the club being set out, not the empty rhetoric I have heard to date.

Get rid of all who have not shown a desire or the respect to play for the club in recent times, it is contaminating our season before it even begins.

The manager, we cannot fairly judge the man until he is properly supported, I suspect that may not happen.

That's peanuts for Matt Ryan!

I read that Jose rocked up in Rome and told 8 players they are not in his plans and excluded them from training with the first team.

One of them is Swedens GK, Olsen, he's the type of goalie I think we need and still has years in him.
