with it looking likely its going to be eddie howe. with keeper situation and begovic being on a free and IF he was wanting to join our club i think this is a obvious signing what's you thoughts on begovic. hazard loan option to recall bain back up to begovic. recoup what we can from barkas and put it to the rebuild with begovic being on a a free and a quality keeper.

I'd imagine he'd be on a decent wage. I know we were linked with him a while back but can't day I've seen much if him recently. Wouldn't be hard to be an upgrade on what we have though. If Forster was available he'd be my preference. I also think the Dundee Utd keeper should be brought in to challenge.

I'd take Begovic definitely. My worry with Bain is the same as lots of other domestic players we buy. If they don't quite make the grade at Celtic, there aren't any other clubs in Scotland who can match their wages. Even if he's on £5/ 6k-a-week that's too steep for others. It's whether he's willing to take the pay cut to get game time.

UI, agree that Begovic has the ability and experience to do a good job for us between the sticks.

I'd also be happy with another free agent GK in Tomas Vaclik.

Begovic recently announced he had signed an extension. Same as the fella Cook we were linked with.
