Would anyone on here take Saiss from Wolves? He'll be free in the summer. Think he's only on about £27,000pw and would be an upgrade on Jullien and has plenty of experience. He'll be 31 in March so a 3 year deal could entice him up North. Might be plenty of interest in him Liverpool are rumoured with him this window to help out with their defensive shortage.

There won't be many on more. 27k would put him up alongside the highest earners at the club and he isn't good enough to warrant that.

Are you sure about that Caese? I was nearly sure Duffy made a statement at the start of season that his wages were paid in full by celtic at 40k.

I never said pay him £27,000pw just mentioned it as it could be within our wage structure. Being over 30 some clubs are reluctant to offer long contracts but maybe a 3 year deal on a bit less due to his age could be doable. Him and Davies on a free would sort out our defense without spending anything substantial.
