Is anyone forgetting one thing? If Gordon hadn't saved that penalty Celtic would be in The Europa League instead. The two goals that were conceded weren't the keeper's fault. Rodgers will find out who his defence shall be when Jozo and Erik are back to full fitness. The main thing is Celtic are back with the Big Boys again. There are bigger teams than us who aren't even in the Group Stages.

{Ed007's Note - The only thing I will say is that Gordon should have been stronger with the ball in his hands for the second goal. At balls like that a GK should always expect to be clattered from somewhere, Janko was trying to block their runner which he did or he'd have been on top of Gordon. Who'd have been getting blamed if an opposition player had knocked the ball out his hand like that or would we have been shouting for a foul on the GK?}

Have to agree with Ed here. Gordon should go through anyone that is coming towards him to save the ball, no matter if its his own team mate or not.

The pen was kicked at him, the player took a bad pen.

I think you seriously need to look at that second goal again stevie. Get Gordon out. He's a liability.

Totally agree Gordon was at fault, not even as much about clattering anyone, he's just got to take the ball in properly and then stand his ground. I feel a number of mistakes he makes are because he's scared he's going to get hurt. He's obviously not got the crazy gene that most keepers have!

Stevie the 2 goals that were conceded weren't the goal keepers fault! U having a laugh! That 2nd goal should be the goalies all day long! Yes janko got in his road but the goalies got to take that and clean him out if need be! But the thing I don't get is why people aren't picking up on the first goal! That was woeful goal keeping. he actually gets across in plenty of time, but let's the ball go through his hands! It was shocking! The guy couldn't actually believe he's scored if u watch his reaction!

It's been the same for ages CG is a liability the second goal was a real present janko was poor but he was trying to protect CG from there runner.

Correct ed it was that much of a farcical goal me and the brother where waiting on a whistle Gordon's not good ehnough and gets off with murder with us he had the ball in that grasp let go far to east for me janko and Gordon out de vries and lustig in till right back fills that void.

Said it before, CG is a good enough reactive shot-stopper but is not in command of the six yard or penalty box. He stands on the goal line too much for me when, iMovie, he should be out a bit clattering friend and foe alike to get the ball. Instead, he waits on goal line for the opposition to have a shot. Just my tuppenceworth.

CG never at fault for 2nd. Yes he had it in his grasp and if not his own player knocking it out then yes a foul on our GK. If Janko had been positioned properly then he'd have spotted the runner earlier. Janko at fault for second. I think big CG saved us last night. I do agree he's not commanding enough and accident prone but credit where credits due.

{Ed007's Note - Gordon has came out and said he never even seen Janko. That's a ridiculous statement from a GK to make, if he's not aware of where his defenders are how does he know to come for the ball or stay on his line?
No GK is in control of his own box if he doesn't know where his defenders are. He's let himself down again by being very weak when it comes to the physical side of the game, Janko hardly flew into him at speed, he never knocked him off his feet, it was a bump and Gordon's weak grip let him down. That ball should have been in a vice like grip against his chest.}

He should have saved the header as well. He dives far enough across and the ball goes right under his hand! Wouldn't be surprised to see DDV on Saturday.
