I see no reason why we can't still go out and buy Gumny, Melling, Cifuentes and any other player we're interested in. If any of them would knock us back due to last night then they're not the type of players we need. Instead of being doom and gloom let's be proactive for once and try to right the wrongs now rather than waiting to try and paper over the cracks in January.

I hear the transfer budget has been curtailed. If it is there's going to be a backlash from the fans. The GB will no doubt have a banner accusing the Board of negligence and they are only intrested in their bonuses. Brown saying sorry and all the players are behind Lennon. Collecting Tens of thousands per week softens the blow for them. Whilst the fans pay Tens of thousands over the years following the club everywhere and are rewarded with that guff on the park. Bin this museum/ hotel idea and get the money spent on decent players on the park. Ed 007 said a while back he won't be bothering with it all this year. Correctamundo as the downsizing and ignoring the glaring positions that needed sorted has us going backwards.

Although the CL is a big attraction and incentive for many players, others see Celtic as at best a world famous institution or at worse a stepping-stone to the English league. What we badly need are hungry, committed quality additions that can lift and improve us. Of course they have to know that they are behind guys like Morgan and MJ ha ha.

It's a hard blow to take but it's done now. I'm still mystified about Calmac at lb. I'm no football tactical genius but what was our actual game plan. Couldn't watch it because I was at work. Were we unlucky or just out muscled?

Bribhoy there were maybe some minor elements of bad luck about it but the main issue was Lennon trying to be smart. That's the bottom line. If he had played the same team as he did over there we'd have went through last night. Boli might well have had a few hairy moments but he'd have been better at LB than McGregor and McGregor could have done a lot more to help the team from his actual position. I'm still reeling. I haven't been this angry about a result for a long, long time.

Rosenberg got thru to the next round last night.

We're still a far bigger attraction than Rosenborg regardless.
