I think we strayed from that a while ago. There are only a few of players in that category if you include Ajer, Boyata and Ntcham - even though they cost a combined £6.5m to start with?!
The best prospects outwith those are all 'academy' players and God help us if we start punting the likes of KT, Cal-Mac, MJ and Forrest
and stockpiling players that don't come up to scratch, while keeping players who were there under NL and RD that have zero sell-on
The whole recruitment system needs a complete overhaul; starting with a clear-out of misfits, before we end up with a policy of 'Spot The Loanee' lol.

Currently Celtic have a first team of 37 players, 4 of which are loans.

If half our squad were loans we would have 18.5 players on loan. However, we have 4 on loan which is around 11%.

Sorry for debunking your opinion.

Rodgers at work and lawman yousmight br happy at the state of our signing policy but I am certainly not kiss good bye to CL qualifications next season as we are not building a team we are instead putting in stop gaps until the end of the season Our board will not act quickly to bring in the quality we need for qualifying just as they are not bringing in the players required to see us qualify Open your eyes we have a real title challenge on now.

RAW never said he was happy with the signing policy daviebhoy67, he just pointed out how badly you were exaggerating. We have the best squad in the country all day long and that squad should have more than enough quality to reach the CL group stages (as they have done the past 2 seasons) . Obviously we all want better players to give us the best possible chance but the board aren't to blame for us not reaching the CL this season, it was the players who didn't deliver - with an honourable mention to Boyata. if we had got past AEK Athens we'd have wiped the floor with Vidi.
