Everyone of experience i. e. Stubbs etc highlighted celtics need for a solid standout defender. All 3 are injury prone. All due respect you paid £4.5 m in 90's for Stubbs, they have know for a season that a quality non injury prone defender would make you a solid team in Europe. If say simunovic gets injured, in all seriousness I think it could be an embarrassment for you against Bayern and or psg. Ajer and bitton. why wait u til now last day, do you really believe Rodgers wanted that. Lowell is paid huge money. Have thing really changed.

Bayern Munich embarrassed Arsenal 5-1 home and away last season. I can't see us conceeding 10 to them.

Couldn't agree more Gunner90. Irrespective of who is fit, we only have Jozo who is good enough and he's only got one good knee. Whatever party line BR comes out with after the window closes there is no way he can be happy with the central defenders he has at his disposal. A permanent deal for a good central defender was/ is a must.
