Brenden rodgers saying, I'm disappointed we may not make anymore signings because as a club we've had 6 months to identify the players we need.

Anyone else think this could be a dig at the club for not doing enough in transfer window?

He wanted then bedded in early to help with champions league qualifiers, seems like the club aren't playing ball, the buzz and transformation of the club right now is huge, being a celtic fan hasn't been as exciting for ages, back the manager and cough up coin, I would love to know how much a scout earns per season, must be the easiest job at celtic as your clearly not tasked with finding any players, apart from the odd balde or scepovic, cracking talent spotters 😂😂😂

If that's what he said then its definitely a dig at someone. May be other parties causing issuse tho as id think it unlikely hed be unprofessional in commenting on celtic

The problem may be how many players we have on the wage bill that are surplus to requirement and can't (or won't) budge because they are on generous contracts for their ability and nobody can afford - or even want them.
BR must be frustrated as there are only so many he wants to keep and there's a limit to how many agree to loans.
However, I would have hoped the board would have acted on the McCarthy interest or made an effort to keep Roberts

think he said it wasnt clubs fault tbh belfast, i ain't to bothered as id rather have no one in than bringing in squad players, we have enough of them . also if boyata keeps performing as the last few games we could have a cracking CB

Just hope it's not the start of a tiff between manager and board cuz it is the most exciting times in a long time let's hope rodgers is backed all the way

{Ed007's Note - So far this season we've had rumours of Rodgers falling out with LG, then it was Sviatchenko yesterday and now the board today. (facepalm) People read far too much into these situations. Perhaps the payers Rodgers wants aren't available for one reason or another. Do we really need to buy a player who come the CL is lucky to make the bench, haven't we got enough of that standard of player?
January is notoriously difficult to finalise deals yet there's some (a lot of?) fans who feel the need to demand that we spend money, it doesn't matter in whom or if their any good as long as there's money getting spent. Modern fans crave money to be spent but don't worry about who on - as long as it is lots of money.}
