Reading the posts on here about who we should be getting rid of at the end of the season and the one name that comes up again and again is Balde, Why? What has this guy done wrong since he came? He scores every time he gets longer than 5 mins on the park. I really think this guy should be given a decent amount of games before people talk of wanting rid. What I've seen of him he looks the real deal, the type of player defenders hate playing against, big strong and awkward and seems to be able to stick the ball in the net

Dont know about the real deal mate but I have backed him as I think there is something in there.It is ridiculous, with a league sewn up, he is not starting games, I find Lennys attitude to this very annoying.

I'm with you here Stevie, Balde hasn't put a foot wrong. Looks rough round the edges but he's a young lad in an alien country still learning the language. I think he could be a cracking player if given half a chance!

I've backed the big man and I too find Lennon really annoying on this subject and a few other players too

Why do you find Lennon annoying? It is obvious that Balde is not capable of performing in the SPL. Lennon has a better chance of knowing that than you or me, he sees him daily at training . Balde may eventually be good enough but he isn't ready yet . The fact that Danny Mc Grain spent half time intervals working with him shows two things to me . One he isn't ready and two Danny thinks there is a player there or he wouldn't waste his time on him .

Chris why did we sign him then? Our scouting team must have watched him in real game time at his previous club and thought he was good enough to splash decent money on.There are many players who look rotten in training but can perform when it matters and vice versa. Just play the guy then we can judge

@stevie problem with balde is, he has never had a run of games to help settle in. Pointless signing him if he is not going to get chance

We wouldn't be the first club who have signed a player and when he arrives at a new club in a new country with a different climate, takes a long time to settle in . In fact sometimes they never settle in the new team . Other players come in and be absolute stars, it is part of the gamble or risk involved .
