ED007 can I ask if you have heard anything of Celtic bringing in another centre forward, if as expected, Dembele moves on after CL qualifiers.
I hope we already have players lined up, because if Moussa goes near end of window, there will be no time to scout and bring in anyone else.

{Ed007's Note - I don't expect Dembele to leave, Tim but there will be a plan in place if the worst happens. Today we've been linked with Montenegrin striker Luka Dordevic, who is set to leave Zenit St Petersburg on a free transfer who could be an ideal 3rd choice striker.

Also reading that Dordevic had his contract terminated by mutual agreement though. The reason being to not sit on a bench.

Do you think we would knock back the type of offers that would come in for him. I mean i can see 20m to 25m but not the upper end quotes of 40m. But 20m for me id rather keep him.

{Ed007's Note - So you think the Club will force him out the door just because someone matched the asking price? If that was the case he would have left in January to join Chelsea. The Club, the player and his agent all know what needs to be done for a transfer to anyone to happen and if all parties aren't happy then Dembele is more than happy to stay here - all the lad wants is to play football.
If Marseille come up with the asking price I think they would be happy to meet Dembele's demands regarding game time, he would get a hefty pay rise too and the chance to play in his home country for one of the top teams. Marseille were very close to signing Dembele last summer but wouldn't guarantee him game time, Celtic did and he joined us.}

Don't think signing a striker who is 23 and hasn't even scored 20 career goals is the way to go. If we need a sh*t striker who can't score goals then we may as well just keep ciftci.

Personally I would just promote one of the youth players to 3rd choice striker.
