Apart from Samaras, that's a strong side and the bench is looking very good to for the first time in a while we have most of the squad fit - at a good time.
If Stokes has another stinker, Griffiths is champing at the bit to play for Celtic.

Why is Lenny giving sammy game time? There are other players there that are long term plans? So confusing! Unless sammy is going to sign long term? Hope not though

Absolute joke that stokes starts again! And if he's playing I'd rather he replaced samaras on the left! Sammy should be no where near our side! Sign a new contract or right down the pecking order!

With the first half closing, this has been another poor performance.

Not even remotely surprised by this, Sammy is like playing with 10 men, Stokes is just rubbish. Don't care that he scored and that Sammy set it up. Had they not even started am more than sure we would be winning by 2 goals at least.

Where to start eh? Sammy should be nowhere near the team, I don't want him to sign a new deal, don't think I can put up with 4-5 months of him never mind 3 years or that get him tae, I've never been a fan of his as I've always thought he's not good enough for CFC. Adam Matthews looked very rusty today, made the same mistakes as he did against Barca and it started a slackness in the team, young Fisher has been impressive recently, why was he dropped for a guy who's just back from injury? And stokes, although he scored the goal he didn't look like doing much else after that, I said last week and will say it to the end of the season, its time to see what balde, pukki and griffiths can do for us. Lenny needs to be asked, why buy so many strikers when your going to stick with the reason you went out and bought another one in Jan?

Really poor today, they deserved it, Robson, Flood & Pawlett bossed midfield, agree with fellow posters Sammie shouldn't have been starting or start a game again, I love Lenny & iam one of those people who always wants to back him up, but couldn't understand why Griffiths didn't start & why Pukki didn't get on instead of Boerrigter, they're defence never broke sweat why Balde wasn't on earlier either to get in about Anderson when it was getting physical, think Bition would have been a better bet to start than Johansen. Just my thoughts but really disappointed, knocked out 2 trophies at home no good, disappointing campaign but hopefully come back stronger.

KevT you're absolutely right for pretty much a year now Samaras is like an absentee. So wasteful and the fact he's playing given the situation with a contract (or lack of signing one) is puzzling to say the least. I'm happy to blame the board for not helping us in CL this season but there's no excuses from Lenny and the team to be out both domestic cups at this stage. Sammy shouldn't be playing, it's not a knee jerk reaction because despite him playing well in the league, Ambrose ain't good enough, I don't mind Stokes playing ahead of the current crop but there are stages in games things have to change. We missed Ledley, sorry folks, midfield was flat. Too many transfers leaving us stepping sideways or backwards, yet most still don't see it and swallow the propaganda like a shot from the board's $#×! Not a happy tim, concerns have been realised and this season is as good as it looks on paper I'm afraid.

I've always supported NL but we need to look at the bigger picture here. There was an opportunity yesterday to excite the fans and aim 4 a scottish cup final in our own stadium. We are now out of both cups and probably lost over a £1m in gate revenue!

Stokes hasn't kicked a ball since he got his new contract and is NL so naive he can't see that samaras is not going to try a leg until the end of the season, the guy is only using us to stay fit then he will put himself in the shop window at the world cup. Pukki came on a few weeks ago against Motherwell and changed the game he looked sharp, hungry and scored a great goal then he is dropped again in favour of the above diddys! Boerrigter who has received a lot of unjust criticism has been very unlucky with injury and Balde are thrown on at the death yesterday to try and save the game!

Our back 4 haven't list a goal in 11 games so NL drops young fisher who has been solid which is a real credit to the young man in favour of Adam Matthews who has hardly played in 4 months. U could c Matthews was off the pace in the fist 20mins!

Izzaguirre is a shadow of the player he was but wether he performs well or not doesn't matter he will always be in the team as there is no competition 4 him! We have been looking 4 another LB 4 3years now but we have 9 strikers and not a natural goalscorer amongst them.

It's special every time u pull on that hoops jersey and march out in front of 60,000 supporters not just when it suits!

Young Watt another 2 goals again, agree with miran04 about Fisher being dropped when clearly Adam not fit & shocking how another left back not been brought in to challenge, don't agree that Boerrigter been unlucky think we been unlucky to get him my opinion just think he a bad player, to me the players just didn't want it enough, Aberdeen where brilliant in every area especially on the break. Absolutely gutted about yesterday thought I would have felt better today but gutted.

I totally agree with u Chris why not give young Watt a chance if he has hit a bit of form again.

Pukki was challenging Huntelaar for a starting position in Germany and the year before we sign boerrigter he was giving teams in europe even Real Madrid lots of problems, players like that don't become hopeless overnight. Let's face it they can't be any worse than Samaras and Stokes. And for everyone who goes on about Samaras making us £30+ million in the champions league it was a team effort that got us to the last 16 and 3 great games in 4 years isn't good enough. He has never been a prolific goal scorer and that's what the guys been getting paid £25k a week 4 the past 4 years to do and all we got was 1 great old firm performance and 3 good champions league games!
