Ed just a silly hypothetical but what if a feeder club of ours put in a good bid for Butland then loaned him to us? Does this sort of thing happen?

Why the obsession with Buttplug? He's decent at best. Can't recall too many wonder saves. He's saved a lot coz their defence is rubbish. He ain't even close to be worthy of crossing the city looking for silverware.

Reminds me of a cracking dodgy deal HT. Apparently Porto owed a hefty sell-on to James Rodriguez's old team so when Monaco signed him and Moutinho, the rumour was that they set up the deal so they only paid €1M for James and about €60M for Moutinho so Porto barely had to pay any sell-on. I'm sure it's a lot of nonsense but still quite clever.
