Afternoon All

I am really sad and disappointed with some of the comments regarding Liel Abada.

Whatever your views on the horrific murders of innocent Palestinians, surely at the very least your posts should be at the very least sensitive towards our player Liel Abada.

He's downed tools or similar has been posted.

Do any of us know what's going on in his mind, his family / extended life etc?

Mental health issues come in many forms and many are invisible. (I could go on) .

Surely Celtic, who probably have all the facts have a duty of care to all of it's employees and that includes the football players.

Would we have the same view / opinion if it was 1 of the groundsman or catering staff who couldn't work?

We are all guilty of giving an opinion without perhaps knowing all the facts.

?.

{Ed007's Note - I don't know any Celtic fan that didn't support Abada - just look how loudly he was cheered when he came back from injury so what's changed since then to make him yes, basically down tools, he's sitting in a bar while his team mates and the Club that pay him a fortune were fighting for the league at Motherwell.
But Brian, how is anything going to change with his family/extended life or any mental health problems he has by leaving Celtic, he isn't in the right frame of mind to play but he's looking to get a loan to the US and is worrying about his place for the Euro play-offs with Israel - do me a favour!
Why hasn't he asked for a break like LG done when he was struggling, maybe because he wouldn't be able to play for Israel or any other team. Maybe I'm being cynical but I doubt it.
If his problem is with Celtic he should have the balls to come out and say it instead of running away and treating the Club and the support like mugs.}

Hi Ed

Thanks for your reply and opinion.

I as always respect your opinion but disagree with some of it.
