Just got round to reading lawwell's statement.

I noticed that there was no apology to fans for their monumental mistake in January window. There was also no promise that they would fix it.

He is banging on about teams not wanting to sell their best players, and attributing the lack of transfers to this factor.

However let me point out a number of things.

1. There would have been lots of available players who are not playing at their club and who wanted out, either through being sold or on loan. This is especially true during with euros just round the corner.

2. The Scandinavian an southern hemisphere clubs are in pre season, which is the ideal time to sign their players.

I hope DD is well informed and knows that we are raging at him and the board. We want them all gone for this disaster and that many fans have had enough and have stopped attending and the issue will get worse the longer, this sheggite show goes on.

P. s sack the board.

I agree with what you're saying weejoe, as would many, but the bottom line is, PL is not accountable to the Celtic supporters.

Therefore, whether you, me or tens/ hundreds of thousands of supporters worldwide are seething at the mismanagement of this board, the shambolic transfer policy, the performances on the park and much more besides, it won't lose him one minute of sleep.

We are not like the sevco fans. A large section of our fans are very political and we are capable and willing to coordinate and execute protests and campaigns against the board.

They have gravely miscalculated and screwed up many times this season and the fans anger towards them has multiplied each time. So far we have only seen the start of this in the stadium. Wait and see what it gets like if we keep dropping points and sevco win the league.

Like you and many more weejoe, I too look forward to the day where positive change is implemented at CP.

In particular;-

* a complete change at boardroom level with younger, fresher, forward thinking minds

* the ambition on and off the field that matches the backing the club receives from the supporters

* a clear road map on what we want to achieve on the European stage

* a far better product on the pitch from a team of players that play the Celtic way

* a youth academy worthy of our club and it's traditions producing a conveyor belt of first team Celtic players

and I hope it's soon.

Hi all, hope you are well. I agree with the need for a total revamp of sports science and youth academy. How we do t have me tal health professionals in there is beyond me. Over the past few seasons players could have been improved in various ways from having a few psychologists in there. Most big European clubs have that from youth to senior even supporting the families. Would give us a better edge and improve all round.

I think we all want that, hopefully this disaster will be a catalyst for change. ?.
