It's not over yet but the fat lady's certainly warming up her vocal chords. The summer transfer window set the tone for what we're seeing now. One player has made a mark on the team and even he's been massively inconsistent. Peter Lawwell said at the AGM, "You get what you pay for". Well, we certainly got what we paid for in Europe and we're getting it domestically now. The harsh truth is any semi-competent CEO would've overseen domestic dominance at the level Lawwell did. In fact, I'd fancy Timalloy, Buzz or any of the rest of us to at least have a double Treble to our names if we'd been in charge.

{Ed007's Note - I'd go for JFP as CEO, Buzz as head of data analysis, Mikey in charge of scouting/recruitment, Timalloy as as the old crusty dusty dusty Chairman, Welshy as Stadium Manager, Kev83 in charge of PR/social media and my Mrs looking after the finances.
