ED007 I was reading an article about the Asian Cup due to take place in January 2024 and Celtic could have about 5/ 6 first team players not available for a month, it could get worse with the Australian boy we just signed and the Korean boy wanting to sign for us.
Surely our Board have plans to mitigate this by signing British or European players.
I know that the Scottish season has a two week winter break but this is BEFORE Asian Cup begins.
Let's hope Brendan brings in some players nearer our shores.

Timalloy if I can remember I think we had same issue with wanyama playing in African nations.

Your right it is a concern, but surely plans are in place to address this.

I'm sure there is a rule that if we have a certain number of players away on international duty for a match, we are able to suspend it. Don't recall the specifics though.

Can we not enjoy our summer transfer window, happy to acknowledge that immediately after Cup Final we were in turmoil with Ange leaving, things looked bleak . Our Board played a blinder and we replaced an elite Manager with an elite . We have full pockets, so please don’t create a worry out of nothing .
Funny thing about between, recruitment team, manager and coaches and board I do believe they have foresight and brains to deal with different International Competitions.

Maybe we shoul give our own youngsters a chance instead if buying youngsters other clubs have given a chance too.

fixture congestion at the back end of the season won't help either, i'd imagine we'll just play the games.
