Sorry but I hope both Japan and Australia get PUMPED
Both countries and second and third in their qualifying table, second goes to Qatar and third goes into playoffs.
We could potentially have 5 players at World Cup from there alone and then coming back tired to play a full season.
No Bad Luck to Australia and Japan from this Tim.

Maeda has started on the bench for Japan against top of the table Saudi Arabia.
He came on after 58 minutes a few days ago against China.
With this being a much harder game, there’s no guarantee that Maeda will come off the bench.

Japan won 2-0 and Maeda played 25 minutes altogether including injury time.
I would expect Maeda to at least make the bench tomorrow night, especially with Giakoumakis being poor at the weekend.
Japan are favourites to now qualify automatically with only 2 games left next month.
Australia will probably need to win in Saudi Arabia to pip them, to the other Automatic place in the last qualifying game.
The Country that finishes 3rd will be involved in a one game playoff match, to qualify for the World Cup.
I hope Japan and Australia qualify automatically because the playoff game will be played in May or June.

I get your worry about players travelling to world cup but its during the season break. Surely we want to see our players at the WC.
