Wait till end of the season before we start making judgements it’s a new team and manager he will get calls wrong but as long as he gets most right and we end top of the league in may then we can be happy, let’s get the kinks out of the way just now and get new people in to help us get there.

Ange knows Kyogo should have played through the middle but goes with him wide because we’re struggling for width otherwise. Not a lot of options. His biggest mistake was playing Edouard. It must be the last time. But in fairness if he scores and should have it’s a different game. Biggest concern for me apart from lack of width on left is a lack of dig in the middle of the park. We’re lightweight and easily bullied. Soro isn’t the answer. A young Scott Brown hasn’t been replaced. Centre halves lack dominance and free header for goal. No height in box when we do get a cross in or corner. Abada disappointing but it’s his first bad game. Maybe the occasion got to him he’s only 19. Juranovic looks class and wasn’t phased one bit. It’s early days not a lot between the teams biggest disappointment was I don’t think we did ourselves justice. They won every tackle and second ball. We let them dictate the pace of the game and just didn’t impose Angeball philosophy. The hungrier team won. It’s up to recruitment to fill the obvious gaps. Big George? Nesbit? Lewis Ferguson?

JFP l have been calling for us to go get Lewis ferguson for an age now. We need a guy who won't be bullied in the middle like happened today.

{Ed007's Note - I've messaged you on Skype, Ter.}

I'm with you, JFP: lost this game in the middle of the park. Thought the same through the week. I like the players we have in there, they're good at what they do when teams allow them to play; but with a stronger unit to front they tend to evaporate. This has been part of the reason we haven't prevailed in the derby games in a while.

Still, first consecutive games I've seen in more than a year (due to time difference) and it's been great to see the team forging an identity again. There was none under Lennon, really.

I've not seen the worst of Edouard, fortunately, but thought he made the difference midweek. I like the kid; but don't see the point in keeping him if he can't own the jersey on current form.
