I enjoyed reading that article Ed.
The first time I’d heard off Bielsa was by yourself when you wanted him to replace Brendan for the Celtic job.

Hes quite a character. His knees must be knackered the amount of times he's on them during a match. I like watching Leeds as they never sit back and go for it no matter who they play. Our players would be running to their agents greeting of the workload under a 24/ 7 football man.

Ed, do you think he might be looking for a new challenge after this season, possibly in with us lol? I know he normally only sticks around for a couple of years at each team, that would be some coup if we managed to get him!

Lol, you have probably answered this before but who would you want or think would be a realistic target, if Lennon's leaves in the summer?

{Ed007's Note - As a DOF I really don't know but I'd like to see Phillip Cocu as head coach with his own choice of assistant and Roy Keane taking up the 3rd assistant position. 😁 Mark Hughes would be an interesting pick too - I see a podcast has been speaking to him and there's a a bit of a buzz around him - but I'd take him over the likes of Howe if I'm honest.
What I want more than anything regardless of personnel is a long term plan to take the Club forward with footballing people making the footballing decisions within the constraints of the budget. There's a lot of money floating about Celtic considering where we are but as I've being saying for years it's not being spent wisely. We need to ignore the transfer fees and concentrate on paying more in wages, we need to invest in scouting and youth development, using the system like we did for Dembele.

No mate your views always welcome. Talking to a big Scottish rugby fan in work and he reckons McKay is a good appointment for us. He will concentrate on the commercial side and bring in as much money as possible, also reckon ticket prices could rise but knows there needs to be a good product on the pitch to justify it. so means money will be spent.

{Ed007's Note - I was answering that last post when you sent this lol I don't know much about McKay and I don't have a "Rugger Guy" on speed dial but from what I've seen he looks like he could be what he needs. Seriously has anyone outside rugby ever heard of him whereas the dug in the street knows Lawwell so here's hoping McKay's not looking to become famous.}
